<DIV><FONT size=1>Yep.. the big patch went in. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1>Wait until you all see how the graphic/armor changes affect us. I just upgraded last night to an Archaic Tunic.. hit level 40. Was thrilled, it had a nice red and black look. I logged in today, the graphic on the tunic is now the same as our level 20 quest armor. Back to the very same patchwork that I was so happy to be rid of 15 levels ago. As if that isn't bad enough, the pieces I've not upgraded yet are some brown, cloddy armor that looks like I've run through the mud and let it dry on me for the last 10 levels.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=1>This .. is just horrible. How could anyone at Sony believe these changes are for the better? Perhaps, I am hoping desperately, they've made a major mistake and just gotten the graphics messed up. <DIV>But are things working as advertised? stacking and such.</DIV>
<DIV>Yea, the big patch went in this morning and guess what, everyone is screwed! First, I log in with 100 % vitality, soon as I zoned it dropped to 20%. I head on to EL and begin to solo some of the new wasp there. Right off I am getting nailed by this thing, it was a green con with 1 up arrow. I managed to kill it and thought it was just the up arrow mob was abit tough. I grab a solo blue con wasp and bam! He is wailing on me as well. So, I think its the new mobs are abit tough and head back to my old soloing spot. The same thing here, mobs that were taking one fleshweave yesterday were now taking fleshweave+regen+bloom to solo. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, I head off to RE for group. I get one right off with a paly lvl 36 as main tank. The first mobs are blue cons to me, being lvl 35 and are kicking the tanks butt. The double xp was sweet so we continue on. We get to the bridge and have to pull our first group mobs. Tank pulls, gets stunned, which has never happened the entire time i have played in re, and guess who the mobs attack next? Yea, thats right, me. Needless to say I get wasted in a matter of seconds while the scout is watching his dmg instead of evacing. I run back to RE and we fight back to my shard. Next pull was some more group mobs, 20 seconds into the fight after fleshweave, regen, and bloom guess whos getting beat on again? The tanks screaming he cant get the mobs off and the groups yelling at me for over aggro. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I can go on with other classes that are screwed such as scouts that can barely solo blue cons now but I will let them rant abit )</DIV>

<DIV>well, alot of that stinks. However, EL solo mobs were WAY too easy before this so I'm glad they tweaked them a bit. I could easily fight two oranges and only heal myself once.</DIV>

Apparently some folks are finding the new mob's with no arrows, assuming they are regular solo's, and getting pounded <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Looks like it's going to be a quick fix though.

<DIV>Hmm let's see, did this patch fix or address any fury speific issues? Nope. </DIV>

Quite a boon to those still using the first two DoT's IMO. Though I admit some healing love would have been nice.
getting them cast without an interrupt is an entirely different matter though. agility was my lifeline...

As for the mobs, you are probably fighting the 'currently mis-conned' new tougher solo mobs, there have been some posts regarding it, and they are supposed to patch in a fix ASAP, probably adding the solo mob arrows that are supposed to be there. Pretty crappy if you ask me, I caught the threads on the forum early and just stayed away, but a lot of people died when they attacked what <EM>appeared</EM> to be a regular solo mob.</P>

Heh I definitely encountered a couple of these solo mobs that are much tougher. I attacked yellow one and had a fairly tough time of it. However, I also noticed that the regular solo mobs (like turtles) in EL were as easy as always. For comparison's sake I the attacked one of the new solo single up arrow 'group' mobs - yellow as well. I barely survived that fight and will not be attacking any more like that while soloing. It seemed to me that there was three levels of solo mobs now in el - the easy ones, middle ones, and ones that are really meant for small groups - not solo players. Unfortunately there was really no differentiation between the middling solo mobs and the easy ones.

I just had a real quick question, more like a random thought....Weren't a lot of our fury buffs meant to augment agility so our target got hit less often and our method of healing became more effecive or something like that? Well with all these changes (nerfs) to agility isn't that in essence lowering the healing effectiveness of the fury class? We have a lot of agility buffs, I think that if agility is going to become obsolete shouldn't we get some different/new buffs, or some increased healage power?

<DIV>I did miss that text about the buffs being only the HO ones somehow (which sucks imo), I guess my reading comprehension grade for yesterday will be a "C", thanks for clearing that up.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The mobs I was refering to though are the normal solo trash mobs in EL like turtes, feral lashers, shriekers and shrillers, and even the solo deer mobs were hitting alot more. Something (I can't remember what now) hit me with barrage, something that had never happened before. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>All in one : Furys screwed even more as before. Not only our Heals suxx and yet we have to deal out agility ist good for nothing. I'm glad, i've supended acc and will not see how much fury will be needed in groups. Espetially after this patch.</DIV>

I have to believe this is all leading somewhere, and not just a time sink for other classes that simply adds to our problems. I logged in yesterday and quickly decided to tradeskill until this patch has time to settle in, quick fixes and all. </FONT></DIV>
