Faerie Fire. What kind of damage does this do?Can I or can't I upgrade the stinging sand spell, the spark spell, and faerie fire?Cyclone: not doing much damager or is it just me?I'm using stinging sand then waiting and using stinging swarm. It's working rather well for lowpower use and lots of damage over time for when Ineed to conserve. What spells do you use whenin protracted fights?I've not had a single Druid Adept drop in two weeks. Is this usual? Is there a good place to hunt?Offensive spells: I'm level 23. My offensive spellsare chill, stinging sand and swarm, cyclone, that sparkone, gnoll and skel master. Am I missing a key offensivespell? What's the best upgrade to maximize damage? Thanks in advance all,Terreneous, your friendly neighborhood Level 23 fury, often the only healer in groups of six on Lucan Delere!

Faerie Fire. What kind of damage does this do?0 damage although I use this to pull mobs. Can I or can't I upgrade the stinging sand spell, the spark spell, and faerie fire?Stinging sand I do not believe you can upgrade. Stinging Swarm you can upgrade. Spark spell?? Faerie Fire I do not believe you can upgrade.Cyclone: not doing much damager or is it just me?et this upgraded and it does on average of 120-150 pts total or more of damage for me at 27.I'm using stinging sand then waiting and usingstinging swarm. It's working rather well for lowpower use and lots of damage over time for when Ineed to conserve. What spells do you use whenin protracted fights?I start off Heroic Opportunity, chill, and then finish with Stinging Sand. Cycle back to HO, chill and cyclone. Add in some Strike of Thunders when you get that spell and you will do quite a bit of damage. This is solo.If I am in a group, debuff mob, regrowth on tank, add DoTs when necessary. Since Stinging Swarm and Sand have a debuff as well, I would use these primarily in a long fight.Offensive spells: I'm level 23. My offensive spellsare chill, stinging sand and swarm, cyclone, that sparkone, gnoll and skel master. Am I missing a key offensivespell? What's the best upgrade to maximize damage?I think you have all the avail spells but just make sure to upgrade them when you can. Start with your heals, then debuffs, and your DoTs/DD. This is just my opinion and others might feel differently. If you tend to solo more, then maybe your DoTs/DD first. As always YMMV. Don't forget to maintain your armor for your level as well because that makes a difference in both solo as well as group encounters.

Hey Darque, can I ask why you use FFire to pull? I mean, it's nice that it's 0 power but if you're soloing I'd think you'd rather get the jump on the mob for damage. And if you're grouping and playing the healer you're likely not the one pulling. Only thing I can think of is that you're highlighting the mob for all to see whom to kill first? Still though, sounds insane to call aggro attention to the healer any more than you have to (unless you're not playing the main healer I s'pose).

<DIV>When I'm in a "perfect" group and we have plenty of power regen and are killing fast, I often pull.  We don't want downtime, and the tank has the mob on him so he can't pull.  When it gets to a safe level, I'll go out and grab the next mob.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Verax</DIV>

<DIV>I personally like to pull with Feral Intimidation when I'm soloing.  I find that with blue/white mobs I don't need to heal myself and can use my power for damage.  Just another idea.</DIV>

I'm casting both Weakness and Feral on mobs, the first to pull, the secondas it's coming in. Seems to help a little.Anyway, more spell questions:I've found during grouping, and even soloing, that I never use Sylvan Wind,or Winds of Renewal. Are they worth using and upgrading? Sylvan Touch, however, gets me out of trouble quite a bit, though I've never been ableto upgrade it beyond App II.

<DIV>Sylvan Winds I would upgrade as it is a VERY efficient group-heal.  WoR is not that nice and group regens are instant aggro, basically.  If I try doing a group regen in normal combat with a few mobs, even as the only heal after tank has group taunted, everything comes to me -- heh.</DIV>

<DIV>i use WoR all the time and find it extremely helpful. especially when we have a enchanter or caster in the group that get aggro. i can cast WoR and not have to worry about them dieing while focusing my direct heals on the tank. i normally dont get aggro by casting it</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

FFire seems to have a longer casting range then our DoTs/DD/Debuffs. I do not normally pull in groups unless mob is surrounded by other mobs that the tank does not want to aggro. Once cast and incoming, tank can use a taunt on mob and it will not attack me at all. I use this more in a solo situation then a group but I think it is a great spell.

Ahhhh FF may have a longer range? I hadn't noticed that, that explains it then. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
