Fury love

<DIV><FONT size=3>I love Fury so far.  I'm only 24 right now, but will hopefully ding 25 tonight.   It's a great class and I'm enjoying it much more than most classes I have played in other MMO's.  I don't know how well our healing will scale at the higher levels, since I am starting to have some troubles now.  According to the spell list though (which is very inaccurate) I'm due for about 5 healing spells in the next 7 levels, so that should help out.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>Lion for is cool, but wolf is better.  Wolf has a sit animation, lion has nada.  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  The main thing I don't like though, is having to be a lion forever now.  It was great for a few levels, but now I want to see my character again.  The problem is, the gain from being in lion form is huge.  I can't give that up just for appearances.  It would be nice to have an option to turn off the graphic part of the spell.  <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>Anyhow, fun class, I lvoe it.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>Verax 24 Fury - Unrest</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>**EDIT** This was meant to be a response to another thread.  **bleep** board noob!  =(</FONT></DIV><p>Message Edited by Verax on <span class=date_text>11-16-2004</span> <span class=time_text>09:21 AM</span>

<DIV>you can turn off your lion form by canciling the spell in your activated spell bar. left or right really doesnt matter...hope that helps. keeps me from embarassment while grinding since it looks dorky to be one =P</DIV>

In a group with another fury it's hard for groupies to tell us apart, and it seems that early on fury's appear to be the "jack of all trades" for healer classes, having so-so nukes and decent heals with a female lion aspect.</DIV> <DIV>Damage really didn't increase in melee, the "maul" is fairly nice, fires randomly for ok damage. Nice increase in AC. I think I was possibly hopeing for a decent increase in output of melee damage seeing as I'm now a lion pawing at stuff. <DIV><FONT size=2>On the DPS tip, I was lucky enough to get a Master 1 version of our level 24 spell Strike of Thunder.  Holy cats! =)  This thing hits for a max of 375 and usually tags XP type mobs for 280-325 a shot.  Put that in with an HO, and you are talking about some serious damae.  To put that in perspective, an equal level wizard with Adept 1 hits for a max of 400 damage with his best nuke.  So his max with Master would probably be around 600.  While ours is just under 400.  Thats not bad for a healing class.  =)  I'm sure there will be greater seperation at higher levels, but for now, I'm pleasantly suprised at my DPS.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>Verax</FONT></DIV>
