When I take my torch out of my charm spot it gets dark, but I want to use the charm spot for a wis item, is there a way to get the torch effect without holding the torch.

teh answer is no. its better to use charms than a torch. in a pvp server if you're on one you're a walking target all lit up. id use sonic vision if your screens to dark or turn your brightness and contrast up on your screen. your call.

Shiny brass shield is a lightsource.  However I would jsut turn up the gamma and get some good charmslot items.   Especially if you are on a PVP server.

<DIV>A torch is a waste of a slot that could be better put to use with Stat items, IMO.   I can't think of one reason to use a torch over ANY item that has a stat.  Even +1 of anything is better than the 0 stat torch.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As Emotive said, the torch on PvP is an EXCELLENT idea...perfect for a Qeynosian..who loves the light.  Freeporters, hate the light, so we never wear them.  But if you are on Venekor and are from Qeynos...roleplay says you MUST wear one.../nod /nod.....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You can go to Options and turn up brightness and contrast if the default is too dark.</DIV>

don't listen to her... she just wants to kill you. torches in pvp are a bad idea.the greater lightstone also has a torch effect.<div></div>
