Hey just a question. Did Warden DPS get nurfed?

I can't seem to hit the numbers I used to. It seems like it's a lot harder to break 600 these days, sometimes 500. I used to break 500 easily if I tried to in raids. Anyone else notice a drop in DPS? The difference seems to be our melee dps.

my spell damage has dropped a lot since i threw away all of my int gear in favor of str for my battle-warden achievement line.so.... if your int went down, then yes, your spell damage will go down. they did increase melee damage for priests / mages a few updates back, but i don't think they did anything to spell damage. of course, they don't always like to tell us when they do stuff like that.... so maybe.

My melee DPS is a bit better..but 20% added to nothing (in the LU that upped our DPS) is still..nothing LOL

Is that line a good line? We got a scimitar that was druid/crusader only called the Draconic Accord Blade with a 77.2 DR and thought about taking it to test out the str line with the double attacks. No one wanted it.

Usually I buff my intelligence and try to take as many procs as I can and use the Maul of the Warden's Fist for melee but I'm usually in G1. I used to average 500-600 dps meleeing and chaining hos but I don't seem to do as well anymore. I average in the 400s and get outdpsed by most classes now. I went the Agi path too.... I starting thinking it's a bad line to go down because the faster hots suck my mana down pretty fast. I also don't have as much downtime for curing.

How much do you average and have you seen a drop in your dps at all?

Message Edited by mikemcmodmike on 04-30-2006 10:48 AM

I doubt the warden dps got nerfed, I'd believe the contrary hehe.

Still doing 600+ dps on several encounters with 470INT and full AA int line. The INT line is a really nice buff to increase our dps special the increase Crit hit chance.

(MY natural instinct buff... *shoo's dps*)4. i often duo my warden with a berzerker and i save almost all of my power for healing / wolves / DoT... i don't do a lot of nuking.i don't have a parser, and i don't know if i really want to parse out my damage, because i'm having fun. i seem to be able to kill things just as fast as before. but it depends heavily on being able to find the right gear. i'm still scrounging for good stuff.:smileytongue:

Spell procs. That being said it's about to get nurfed but spell procs make a difference. I think some of the different numbers come from Wardens in G1 with no spell procs or melee procs vs Wardens in off groups where they get all the nifty procs.

Troubs, Wizards, Illusionists all give spell procs. Plus you get an earring (collection), grizfazzles thingy, bone clasped girdle, etc... to get more. Someone else posted in another forum saying they collect spell proc items to hit 900 dps.

In white wolf form, I don't have a problem with this. Int gear and Int food will help with this too, btw.
