So I'm a 52 champion warden now on nagafen, and I've been trying to figure out which AA lines would be most useful for the pvp environment, not worrying about raiding or grouping or anything. Just PVPCurrently I'm going with the Agility line down to 4 points in Charm Animal. I dont plan on going any farther in this line as the next ability seems worthless and the one after that, the end one, doesnt seem worth the 12 more points to get to it. Charm is very useful though. Helps infinitely with soloing and its fun to play around with. I'm now going down the agility line and i plan on stopping at the 3rd tier in that as well, putting 8 points in the in combat run speed buff. That line doesnt seem worth taking to the end either.. so really my question is what is everyone else doing for the pvp server? do the STR/INT/STA lines seem valuable in a pvp environment to anyone? Spell Crit Chance seems like it could be useful, like mastery of magery in DAOC. Or maybe the Heal Crit chance but thats tier4 in a seemingly worthless line. Anyone have any input on this stuff?

dispel in sta line could be useful imo.. who wouldn't wanna get rid of people's buffs? especially a healer's buffs.. (sta line dispel will dispel divine and pretty much ALL healer buffs are divine based).

For pvp i strongly recomend going down the INT line first. As wardens we dont get much int anyways so its a nice dmg boost. The hammer ability is ok..nothing special other than a nice bit of extra dmg if you need it. But the crit ability is amazing. On paper is says its about 35% chance but it really crits every other spell. I can rely on at least 2-3 crits per pvp fight. The extra dmg really helps. Also i recomend grabing at grizzlefazzle mace(quest in bonemire) at 65. 10% for 250-450dmg on hostile spell cast. Really nice when you crit someone for 1500 with subzero and that goes off for an extra 400. Other than that id say Sta for the crit healing. Crit heals and crit spells are what your looking for in pvp. As for the dispell ability...i dont know. I really dont want to switch out a shield for a symbol on pvp server. For dispelling just use pumice stones, its 5x the dispell and only 5000status at pvp vender. I think it's like 150levels of dispell on all buffs.

Message Edited by Lordviperscorpian on 04-17-2006 10:00 AM

Message Edited by Lordviperscorpian on 04-17-2006 10:02 AM

I would have to say Sta and Int line. Wardens do two things heal and nuke. Anything to enhance that is what I'd be looking for. I would go the Int line till you get 8pts into the crit nuke then I would take Sta all the way to the end. The end ability is going to be really nice for PvP. The majority of classes can stun you and thats what ends up killing you. So an anti-stun that lasts for 30s and can be cast while stunned is definetly the way to go. At least thats the route I'm taking.

Extra STA makes you a bit harder to kill, and the anti stun is nice.

Charm animal is just more stuff I can't figure out LOL....

Message Edited by Arielle Nightshade on 04-17-2006 02:05 PM

In T7 charm animal is CRAP. For 3 concentration slots you get the privelege of charming 4 animals in KoS. This skill is not worth the points.

I just picked what I like. There's not an arguement here, just a preference Also. with Charm animal, once you hit lvl 60 or so and get into KoS, you will find (at this writing) that it is pretty useless, as none of the creatures up there are flagged 'animal'. Nothing to charm LOL
One thing is not to rely too much on Serenity, the reason being that most classes who can stun you can also debuff you, and since Serenity is a buff it goes out the window on the first debuff and you won't survive to see it again if a DPS class stuns you after its gone.
