<div>Heya all,</div><div> </div><div>I have a question for all of you and I was wondering if anyone knew the answer.  It's about the first AA ability point.</div><div> </div><div>Now if you equip a staff in your primary you become a treant and gain an extra 3.9% heal crit chance.  Conversely if you have a hammer in your primary you become a wolf with an extra 5% or so spell crit chance.  Now your form is set once you cast the buff regardless of which weapon you then switch into your primary, but my question is once you switch out your weapon afterwards do you keep the beneficial effect?</div><div> </div><div>It's hard for me to test out if I retain the extra heal crit % because I'm already maxed out on heal crits from the stamina line plus I don't know what the base % is.</div><div> </div><div>The reason for asking is I want to keep using my pris 2.0 in raids for obvious reasons, but it's a hammer and who wants an extra hostile spell crit chance for raids... bleh.  If I can cast the buff with a staff, get the extra heal crit chance and then switch in my pris 2.0 to keep the heal crit bonus I'll be happy but I'm not sure if it's working.  If it doesn't, then we should whine on these forums until we can switch our pris 2.0 into a staff <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  3.9% chance is a lot!</div><div> </div><div>This will become critical because us Wardens dont get a self power buff like furies.  It will be impossible to hit our regen cap without our pris 2.0.  My regen atm is 7 base at seventy, 10 for two training choices, 4 necklace of the desert walker, 3 Lockjaw's earring, 7 botm ring, 2 ring of fate, 6 bracelet I got and can't recall the name, 3 dusty tomb of arcane scripture.  That's a total of 42 if I wear the new relic armor and a bard regen buff is only 41 atm with A3 manasong (slackers haven't found the master).... that leaves me at 83 and 22 short of cap if I use a staff for heal crits.  I'm sure I'll find some t7 items with ft on it but still..... the 14 from pris 2.0 would be nice and would leave me near cap and almost seems required in raids.  I'm in a position where I won't be wearing my relic armor because I'd lose the ft from my armor pieces.  Either that or lose a great buff from our first AA point.  I hope I'm getting my point across but it seems like a no win situation.</div><div> </div><div>So someone please help me find out and then start the drive to make pris 2.0 turn into a staff (like it shapechanges for all other classes) if it doesn't!</div><div> </div><div>Mayi - First 70 Warden on Kithicor</div>

<div></div><div></div><p>It seems you keep the original  buff when you switch weapons.  However, if you zone it rechecks what weapon you are using and then changes the buff to to what you have equipped.</p><p>Also what power boost spell for furys are you talking about?  If you mean power regen than thats the spirit of the bat spell which wardens can use as well.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Message Edited by Omegarhino on <span class="date_text">03-16-2006</span><span class="time_text">04:03 PM</span></p>

<div></div>Has anybody verified whether the AA form doesn't change after the initial cast?  I mean the buffs.  The form obviously does not change.  This would make it a lot more useful.

<div></div>Just like what Omegarhino said.  It's tough to tell with the % increases but when I cast the buff with a sword for the melee proc and switch to a staff, I still get the Tiger's Bite melee proc.  I assume it is the same with the other effects.
