<div>A small gripe compared to other things yes but, has anyone else noticed our swords, leaves, and trees growing off people have been replaced by pre update generic priest crap graphics?</div>

Since Druids no longer exist all the cool looking spells from 10 - 20 have been replaced with the generic Templar looking spells that us Wardens are still stuck with. I for one would love to see Spirit of Oak line actually do the tree graphic when cast, Essence of the Great Bear (and all elemental resist spells) do the old Verdure ice graphic around players feet and etc...<div></div>

<div>Honestly, spell graphics are not that important to me.  However, I <em>know</em> I get leaves to this day. </div>

I've been /feedbacking this for months but they've never done anything about it. It's sad when you play a Warden and half your spells look like a Templar.<span><blockquote><hr>Colossaltitan wrote:<div></div>more importantly, the flurry of leaves and swords when we heal!!!!!<hr></blockquote>Aye, i used to cast my Druid group heal for fun (Sylvan Winds?) when my group was near max hp cause i loved the look of it. I'd love all our group heals to have that particle effect.</span><div></div>

<div></div><blockquote><hr>Morie wrote:<div>Honestly, spell graphics are not that important to me.  However, I <em>know</em> I get leaves to this day. </div><hr></blockquote>Thats fine if they aren't to you.  But, seeing as how they can be turned down, turned off, etc I don't think its much to ask for the druid community to bring them back, I'm positive they are still in the coding, just simply not being put to used, whether it was intentional or not. I'm not sure. The leaves you get are the ones from Wild Growth & Wild Chlorostorm.  However all the other heals used to have leaves & swords. It was the coolest animation in the game imo and should definetly be brought back.  Taking it away is a step in the *wrong* direction and it just diminishes the beauty of eq2.

<div>Those graphics are definitely still being used unless the fury heal-on-death spell also got changed... I'll go test it tonight to be sure though.</div>

<div></div>Im just trying to figure out why they did it....takes effort to change the coding.  Unless they hate wardens?  But I mean come on, were nature healers, we should be seeing...well...nature effects.  It clearly is pointless and definately not the right thing to be doing, come on devs, what gives.

Hi,I just wanna add that i agree with most of the posts entirely.  The leaves and leaves/swords are one of the most attracive looking animation lines in the game.  They set the druids apart from the other healers.  Style and flavour is imprtant in an MMORPG its not all about stats and uber gear.I actually am only browsing the forums while considering whether to come back to EQ2 after giving up (warden is level 42) .I was disappointed with the way the warden clas was being treated in-game as well as by the devs, the Templarising of the animiations seemed like one kick in the teeth too many.  I always thought that HoT was an excellent way to heal, pity that so many players didnt.<div></div>

<div></div>I agree with all that has been said pls bring back those nice animations.Oh btw one thing i have noticed on my fury alt the group heal is using the sword/leaf animation and the direct heal does look like a dot.Every single spell on my furys looks druidish. So devs could you please give us wardens those animations too?<div></div><p>Message Edited by T'Pol on <span class=date_text>07-01-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:28 PM</span>

That animation looks pretty, but I personally hate it, lol.  The group one gives me a major lag spike.  That might be why they changed it.

Funk that, i play a druid not a cleric, so make me look like one! give me a laggy system if you have to i dont care just do it!</div>

Others do. I know I do.</P> <P>IMO, spell particles is about the only aspect of EQ2 graphics that really looks good (the other probably being player models as long as they don't move and in a "high detail" mode). It's sad they (particles) suck so much performance-wise. Even with my pretty high-end rig I have to turn them all off when in a full group to avoid FPS dropping below 20 pretty frequently.</P> <P>So all-in-all -- particles sure look nice but they cost so much performance already that (IMO) they need to be tuned down, not up. Otherwise people are just forced to run around with particles off -- which kinda defeats the entire point (not to mention that you don't get a visual clue when party members cast wards, etc.).</P>

Well, they COULD have replaced the circles and leaves with a simple leaf overhead that drops a drip of healing water or something... rather than give us the cleric / pally gold hand that goes overhead. I know they lessened the animations because people were complaining that they caused issues when raiding and such... so I can see their point but replace the old with something definitely more druidish please!<p>Message Edited by Brangwen on <span class=date_text>11-06-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:09 PM</span>
