"We are sadly underbalancedWe are sadly underbalanced. I say this as a person who has no problems getting a group. Not because of my skills just because of my talkative nature. So this isnt a we cant get groups thread. Any class can get or make a group. But what we have as Templers - is that our one trick pony has been traded in for a crackajack toy, where the jack of all trades(druids) finally passes us in most circumstances. We're supposed to be the plate wearing templer.. Yet leatherwearing druids have so much more utilitySo the druids (furies / wardens) get HoT in addition to Evac (get out of gail free, SoW, invis, dots etc and burst heals).Hey we got CoH... which after all other buffs used, we get to put on the main tank.. nice..You cant tell me that thats fair. Why does is take us to be completely nerfed before us clerics / templers do anything.I've been here before...i.e. years in EQ1. We need to band together now and need a real spokesperson.SOE only listens to the most vocal. And spareme the.. "well its not live yet..". Ive trodden that wear path too many times in EQ1 and EQ2."From Templar Board./laugh
And now, the opposite : a reasonned templar !!!! :"Templar reactives don't tick, where did this come from? They react to damage and fire the heal, hence reactives. The Clerics have a strength that NO Druid or Shaman can match and I cannot believe it wasn't mentioned. When everything hits the fan, the Cleric can dump his enitre healing load instantly before a Druid regen can tick or a Shaman can spam heals. Now these are my opinions:Templar reactives are better than Shaman wards in the case that our special heals do just that, heal. I understand the concept, but I've never liked wards.Templar reactives are better then Druid regens in the sense that they do not tick. They are triggered by damage. We can handle damage spam on the MT far better by chain casting reactives. Group reactives react to AoE damage and instantly replenish health while you have to wait for a regen. I'm not patient. I believe Templars have the most heling spell lines as well, so no, I don't think we'll take a backseat.Single ReactiveGroup ReactiveSpecial Large Single Reactive (Focused Benefaction)Single Large HealSingle Small HealGroup HealPC Heal Proc (Glory of Combat)NPC Heal Proc + Trauma Cure (Involuntary)NPC Heal Proc (Mark)Small Damage Absorbtion (Benediction line, at Adept 1 6% chance to cast Divine Shield and absorb all attacks for 10 seconds I think it goes)Divine Arbitrition (taking the total group HP and instantly equalizing it among the group)We have a ton of healing spells and healing support utility, I fail to see how we will be relegated to the backseat...Priests are different, our heals are situational and each have their strengths and weaknesses. I like to think that Druids are good in long and drawn out fights while Clerics are better in rapid damage fast paced fights./end opinion"

<DIV>Templars always been biggest whiners in EQ2, they were waaay overpowered pre dof, now they get balanced with the other healers they all start whining about how bad there heals is... but when I check the templar heals they are about 80% better than our and good as equal with the defiler one ( who's in my eyes best healer in EQ2 atm ) Our buffs ( warden ones ) are ok but sure not as good as the templar/defiler ones so there is alot to do for the warden class to become equal with most other heal classes in EQ2.</DIV>
<blockquote><hr>Chepi wrote:/wonders what the purpose of this thread is for!!! <div></div><hr></blockquote>To be the best healer doesnt prevent to whine. : D

I'm ecstatic when members of other classes post on our boards in a useful fashion - for instance, some of the recent Templar posts here, barring a certain individual. But trolling? I think not.</span><div></div>

While there are certainly some whiners here, there are a large number of those for any class. At least some of us here have real complaints that we brought to SOEs attention in a rational way. From your posts in the last 20 minutes or so, you appear to have something of a superiority complex going on. Frankly, no one here is interested in hearing about how better you are because you have no complaints and you think we're all whiners. If you come to the boards to insult people rather than produce useful information, I think I speak for the rest of the Warden community in asking you to kindly go away and take the attitude with you.</span><div></div>
