Overall a really crappy day.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

*weeping* Would've been nice if they told us that in the patch notes rather than slipping it in all stealthy like... I miss them already... <div></div>

<P>I'm high enough to still have 2 of 3 spells. (miss my tree tho)</P> <P>Let me say one thing tho.. they sure made up for the fact that they moved our Nature's Ally (wolf pack) spell to 55, its freekin awesome now. 4 wolves all hitting once per second for in the 120-180's. Holy dps batman.</P>

If SOE think they can make up for giving us inferior buffs and heals by increasing our dps, they are sadly mistaken. They already have 2 other classes, mages and scouts who already fulfill that role, and I am not even going to try to compete with them. I highly doubt any group is going to choose a priest for dps purposes. What I am interested in is how is our healing stacking up with the fact that mobs now hit harder? And what buffs are we bringing to the table that might actually be useful? At the moment our buff situation looks pathetic and our heals aren't far behind. All in all this revamp looks like it's going to suck really badly for wardens, and no amount of dwelling on things like our increased dps is going to change the fact that we have inferiror heals and buffs in comparison with other priest classes.

Protecting Grove = 58? )= Maybe it's better that way though, It's prolly allot more useful at 60 being a lvl 58 spell instead of 50. Does it heal more now, also? If So, Then yeah, Prolly better off at 58. Hell why not make it lvl 60! <.< <div></div>

Both of you two, yeesh. They may have increased our tree's power too but I dont' know because i'm a level too low to cast it now. I am posting about what I can use tho and out of those two the Ally spell is the only one most people care about.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>They moved our wolf pack to 55, but they made up for it. Thats the point, not caring about dps isn't relevent to [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] so stop being so darn whiny. I'm going to stop telling you guys anything if you can't start acting like adults. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The revamp does not suck any more for Wardens then it does for anyone else. We're just as strong after these changes when it comes to being healers as anyone else is. The devs must have felt we where all having too easy of a time keeping people alive and decided to make it more interesting. Of course in typical SOE fashion it sure seems that they went overboard. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Its going to be rough, my initial testing showed a much higher amount of healing was required then before but I can still keep up, its not easy and it takes a good group now, but we can do it. Now that power gets eaten up even faster then ever being effecient is more important which is a plus for us too. Overall this recent nerf is much too severe and this is coming dangerously close to release time. Making these kinds of huge changes now is bad news and I really hope they reverse it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I really hate these changes, I feel like a glass cannon healer now with my pathetic mitigation and avoidance both. The one thing we can do well now really is heal. Our buffs need help (no being to buff a little power does not make us good buffers)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And we get our butts kicked by anything that decides to turn on us now. Our only saving grace is the fact our root kicks so much [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] but I have a feeling (especially due to a few Wardens on the beta boards) that thats goign to get nerfed also.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wardens have issues, but loose the drama would ya? Me posting about them raising the dps to coincide with raising the level of a spell doesn't have [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] to do with healing and doesn't require someone to go on a whine about it.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Ravenmist on <span class=date_text>09-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:10 AM</span>

Okay, more rant here. I didn't even mention the fact that a lot of people like to solo as Wardens and theres a decent chunk that picked the class to be an effective soloer. So if you don't care about DPS then thats your issue, it doesn't make DPS not matter because you don't care about it. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Its the same thing when people post that a spell is useless or they don't care about it because its not going to help in a raid. A lot of people could care less about raiding. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>People need to learn to look past thier noses and understand that all aspects of our class are important to different people.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My biggest concern is our healing ability, second is our buffing and last is our dps personally. That goes for most Wardens. But my dps is still important to me all the same because I do like to enjoy all the different aspects of the game. Raiding, grouping, soloing, duoing.. It varies for me almost daily and every part is important.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I'm still going to buy the expansion and play it. Even with a [Removed for Content] class the expansion is just too much darn fun, heh. But if nothing changes then I'll probably get tired of things fairly fast and be ready to move on after that. So many of yesterdays changes are VERY not fun.</P> <P>I really hope they get thier act together fast here, theres just no time left to be screwin around with stuff like this.<BR></P>

<DIV>I have the game pre-ordered. Ill play it for awhile and when another game comes along Ill move on my way. I enjoyed playing my Warden and every since this revamp started I was ok..then the changes got worse then better then worse again. The Yo-Yo effect got to me and I have hardly even played much compared to what I use to play. For now its just buying time till the next MMORPG comes along.</DIV>

<DIV>I honestly think people cry wolf just to get attention. No this combat change does not suck, Yes SoE is trying to scale back the entire game to adapt well to future expansions. Im glad there doing it now, after a year, then to do it on the 4th or 5th expansion. Yes, i think there still needs more work done, but when doesn't an MMO need work, or has room to evolve, or has room for adaptation. If you hate change find a new genre of games to play, Id suggest Console gameing. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I honestly can't lie though, i was a little distraught when i first entered beta, seeing how druids were concerned me, alot. Now though, after the major overhaul they got, seeing our new spells, and seeing how we react in group, though MINOR tweaking is needed i think they have a good shot at keeping class balanceing under control for the LONG TERM.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>60 Warden on Beta and i do fine. Yes you actually need to know what your doing, its just not spamming 1 2 3 anymore. Yes you need to manage your mana better with the type of spells we have, yes we got an awsome DPS boost, and YES from a post above i do like being able to give a mage a run for his money if hes slacking. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I understand that everyone here is an avid gamer and lvling up a toon isn't the most easiest of things to do. You in a sense get a form of connection to that toons presnence, and you even may RP a little. But honestly, I doubt anyone will quiet this game due to a decrease in healing over every healing class. Yes your gonna need to spend a day to relearn your buff process's and you might even move your mouse a little to re-orginize your hot bar. But in the long run, i think everyone will be happier. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Btw, Lvl 60 is loads of fun, lots of things we can do, not that much limitation to what we can't. And we finally get a root spell to boot. The tree heals great, group only though.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tenolas Naturewalker</DIV> <DIV>50 Warden / 48 Jeweler</DIV> <DIV>Najena Server</DIV> <DIV>Shadow Syndicate</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Beta-</DIV> <DIV>60 Warden</DIV>
