View Full Version : Grouping with a Fury
<DIV>I group with a Fury pretty often, and while we take turns being main healer, occasionally we both will heal if things go crazy. We had always been curious whether or not our Regens stacked. We finally decided to take the time to find out. Now I am not sure if this has been covered or not on the forums before, but we did find out that they do NOT stack. Now if an Inquis and a Templar or even a Mystic and Defiler do this once one is used up, the other will kick in. Essentially so will ours, but they start expending right away, and will have little or no healing left when the first one expires, where the others will have their full potency when the first one expires.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In either case, just a warning, if you are grouping with a Fury, discuss before hand who will be using HoTs and who will be using direct heals when things get crazy.</DIV>

Cripes. I grouped with a Fury once (she was 38, I was 35 at the time). She was the primary healer, and I (and presumably she) assumed our heals would stack. However, as we both used Bloom and Regrowth, we knew they wouldn't stack but we though everything else would. I'm somewhat dismayed to hear that the other heals (NC and whatever the Fury equivalent is, for example) wouldn't stack. Important info to know. Thanks for the heads up.</P>

I group with a Fury in raids... and I constantly tell her NOT to worry about casting WBF in battles where we need Elemental resist. And I in turn will not cast Chloroplast in all other battles. She never listens, and since we both have master.... they keep overwriting each other. <div></div>

What can you do? Does bring up a good point. As I hope to start cutting my teeth on some raid mobs, I'll have to make sure I communicate with any Fury's I group with, lest much power be wasted.</span><div></div>

<DIV>Furys really don't hjave sells comparable to NC as theur heals don't have a regen component aside from Bloom. So there's no stacking problem there.</DIV>

is it possible that even though the heal components don't stack that the buff parts do? furies get a dps buff on their regens where we get elemental buff and I've had a fury overwriting my tick number-wise (168 vs 14<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> yet I still had an icon showing in maintained which made me wonder if at least the buff part stacks like the chanter breezes (illusionist + coercer breeze won't stack mana regen but it WILL stacks buff component).
