<DIV>I was playing the game just fine... I am a 36 level Warden. All of a sudden I coule not change forms. No wolf... at all, none of my form changes are working. Need help, any ideas??</DIV>
<DIV>Try typing in /hide_illusion, or for short you can just do /hide. This will toggle your ability to display illusions.</DIV>

<DIV>Also, just /hide works too. Remember that if you want to make sure that you are 'wearing' your wolf, check your sustained spells bar for the icon. You don't have to look like the wolf anymore in order to get the benefit - unless you choose to! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

Heh actually juts /hi works as well, found that out when tryin to great someone, and instantly turned back into a wolf.So what fraction of wardens use the hide_illusion optoin? After they put it in I've been using it constantly, but I'm thinking I might switch back for some variety soon.Lorical

<DIV>The Wolf (bless her) seems to me to slow casting and can be awkward in some dungeons and tight spaces - I have pretty much always used a racial eye or the Guise to make me into a different, smaller form while wearing the wolf. I have always liked the look of my toon - the way the armor and weapons look, etc. The point of view of the running wolf used to make me a bit seasick (although they did fix that early on). After finding out how compact I can be as a Ratonga, or how precious I look as a wood elf or how cute a Gnome I am - it's hard to go back to the Wolf - although I love the spirit of it, and love having it as my constant companion. I just don't like looking like one.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So ..short answer: maybe 5% of the time, probably less.</DIV>

I always stay in woof form if I have the spell up. I always seem to dig up snausages and other treats that way. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
I dont use wolf form ever.. but i'd imagine I'd probably hide it if I did. <div></div>
<DIV>I pretty much always have the /hide command on. The only time I take it off, is when I want to turn into a bee, to prank my guildies. So I would say 99.9% of the time, I have illusions turned off.</DIV>

I pretty much always have the spell up unless I'm taking a griff ride but always use /hide. I even made a hot button with the command so I don't have to type it in. <div></div>

As the spirit wolf totem grant the wolf form to many (imagine my shock when I saw two wolves running side by side in TS one day... and one of them was a wizard, and the other was a Pally o_0), it doesn't have the quality of uniquely identifying wardens anymore. However, when I'm traveling over great distances, I will often hit the key (created a macro) and switch back to the wolf form. As some have said, for RP purposes I'm more likely to have the wolf form on, especially when there's a high elf female fury twitching her tail at me.... *bark* ... *meow* <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>While soloing and fighting in pick up groups, I'm more likely to have it off. It was a great option to have. Thanks to SOE for giving us the option.</P>

True enough...however, the one annoying thing is when you get hit, you go "YIPE!!" when you are in Wolf Form. Used to make my MT CRAZY... on the other hand, it's a very definitive sound in the melee crunch that you ARE getting hit...<BR>

<P>I agree with Mr/Ms Troll Sex Symbol, I /hide the wolf but i like faerie form a lot. It's not something you see on Guk a lot so it usually warrants a double take. Plus with my little mushroom pet in bear form (thank you, whoever gave me that tip!) running at full tilt with Jboots, totem sow, and casted sow, I can blow through Thundering Steppes and leave a wake of dumbfounded people. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>(edited for questionable gender address)</P><p>Message Edited by nierika on <span class=date_text>07-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:57 PM</span>

<DIV>aye, the totem sows and casted sows stack - my run speed with jboots and both sows is 54%. i have been know to outrun the one guy on my server who has a maj'dul <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (yes, I feel empowered by that thankyouverymuch)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>happy running!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I was grouped with a fury last night, had SoW and SoW totem, and he cast his 30 sec speed buff. I hit 84% speed increase, then sprinted on top of that, though I could not see a visible increase when sprinting. But I tell you, I was hauling!</DIV>

I got Salmekia's Pact of the Pride training spell at lvl 30, increases speed by a further 10% <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
