<DIV>Thought you guys might like to see this...I obtained Sylph (the upgrade from Wisp) in Master  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> for a really good price (read:  Free).  I hadn't used Wisp much so "Subjugation" isn't where it ought to be.  I'm spamming Sylph whenever it's up to get the skill on this up.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sylph's Description (for the Master):  "Instant hate reduction for enemies in the caster's immediate area.  Briefly impairs the Movement rate of all enemies in that area and Teleports the warden a short distance away"   </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Effects:  Teleports target to a random location within 10 meters - decrease threat by 602 - Root Targets in AOE - Only affect targets lvl 62 and below </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ok:  Teleports the Warden a short distance away:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/ArielleN/EF2.jpg" target=_blank>http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/ArielleN/EF2.jpg</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>(I suppose this depends on your definition of 'short')....I found myself about 500 feet above my Zerker Partner waving down at him...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>From experience getting dumped by the Griffin in Antonica..I knew if I took a step, I'd fall to a grisly, splatted death on the ice below..so I evac'd out.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/ArielleN/EF1.jpg" target=_blank>http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y218/ArielleN/EF1.jpg</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The Zerker did NOT evac with me...which answers our question about evac distance in Adept 3  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So...I guess those Masters are really really something!  LOL     I thought I'd share this with you..and also show you the panoramic View of Everfrost from the Air that...well..so few of us are privy to  LOL!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I have been too lazy to /bug this..but will if it happens again.  Having the panoramic view from the air in EF is sort of the highlight of Sylph Adventures.   I used it in the Drafling Tower  (again, spamming..not cause I needed it) and fell through the world..my first journey of that kind..so interesting.  I also spammed it in Deathfist and ended up LD for about 20 minutes  LOL</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I wouldn't call this 'worthless'..just..um..INTERESTING.   If I had paid for it, I might be a bit miffed about now.  As it was a gift..I just wait to find what new places it will take me next...<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<P>This is really funny.  FYI, I have had Wisp teleport me into walls before (not pysically inside of them, but on the other side of them.  I too have been spamming the ability to get the skill up.  While in the Forrest Ruins mining T1, I happened upon a forgotten guardian, and decided to work on my crushing skill.  So after meleeing him for a couple of minutes (got a couple of crushing skill up's) I hit Wisp... and everything went black (I was in first person mode).  I pushed forward.... then strafe left, then right, then backwards... .and then I fell out of the other side of the wall <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Reminded me of a Star Trek episode gone horribly wrong.</P>

<P>Discovered a fast easy *safe* way to up your sylph skills today :smileytongue: While you bored standing around lfg or while camping some mob doing nothing just target yourself (while not in battle) and spam away, you'll fizzle tons for fast upping and when you do manage to cast it just says no eligable target and doesnt take the skill down, continue spamming. Worked like a charm today standing around camping agony :smileyvery-happy:</P>

<P>Get it up while you can!</P> <P> </P> <P>That's either a ad for [Removed for Content] or me saying you better do this method before the dev team considers it a glitch and fixes it.  I mean, they may never fix our broken spells, but if they catch wind of this you can bet there will be a patch for it tomorrow.  :smileywink:</P>

<DIV>Slyph and Wisp are acting a bit differently for me now then in the past. I have noticed that I get the usual teleport of a few feet like usual but now I also appear invisable for 5 secs and can move around as invisible even further away.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This may just be a graphics change. However, a friend did say after using this spell that I did become invisable to them. Can any of you confirm this or has it really changed? I have the masters of both but I doubt that has anything to do with it.</DIV>

<P>Nahh, I much prefer the versatility of an evac:<BR>-Group evac of course, either because your other evacers died or you're the only evacer.<BR>-Personal get out of trouble free card (barring interuption and having 5 seconds to cast it)<BR>-Jump through zones faster<BR><BR>Invis, at level 39, would be how useful really?  Most zones are already grey to you, and the ones that aren't you don't normally go walking through unless you're there to hunt anyways.  Sure you can use it to sneak your party past a particular area deeper into a hunting ground, but don't mobs also outgrow their invis eventually too?  You can never outgrow evac however.  =)<BR><BR> </P>

and like evac, there are other classes that also do invisiblity better... namely Brigands and Swashbucklers, and pretty much all mages for single cast variations of invis.... possibly Illusionist with their group cast of invis as well.

Huge debate on the whole group invis issue :smileysad: I also have a 45 swashy and It has an enourmous number of drawbacks....as far as totems go at 44 I tried one and well soe musta fixed it cuz everything just saw me anyways. I personally like having evac, with sow, jboots, and ghost lion (i don't remember name im terrible lol) I run at sprint speed anyways so if im just running threw a zone its see you later mobs as i blurr by :smileyvery-happy: In that pinch who better to know its time to scoot then the healer :smileyhappy:
