<DIV>This has been brought up in several threads on this board already but not under a heading that would make the problem we're looking for an answer obvious. So here it is again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Several procs are now using power, a very significant amount of power every time they go off. This is huge nerf that is causing our buffs to be more harm then good in many situations. Why did this happen? Is this intended or is this a bug? When are you going to fix it if its a bug? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please help, this isn't a small matter. This is a major problem.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>btw, please feel free to chime in with your experiences with this matter.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Ravenmist</DIV><p>Message Edited by Ravenmist on <span class=date_text>04-23-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:06 PM</span>

<DIV>A lot of procs already used power when they hit like the guardians Hold the Line and the predators Blade Flurry, both said nothing about this in their descriptions, Might be some more spells should have had this and where broken before or forgotten, or simply nerfed because they where to good, who knows. But procs taking power is nothing new.</DIV>

Except Hold the Line always used power, and said so in the description. My bf (guardian) and I noticed his power was always almost gone while exping after LU 6 went live, so I don't think Woodone's, etc have always been using power. Plus, Woodone's takes over 100 power every time it procs vs. HtL's 21 IIRC. There are no other group buffs that impart a proc on someone and then take their power every time the proc fires. I bug report this on a daily basis. <div></div>

<DIV>To me the Proc taking power should be removed. Its a Proc that you yourself are not initiating but some one else is. There have been situations that I have tried to Evac seeing that the fight was not going in my favor.. being that I suddenly got an add or two. Suddenly with more mobs on me the proc chance increases with each mob to some extent. So I hit my Evac spell.... wait wait.. almost done... then nothing.. [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]? Read in Chat windows.. You don not have enough power to cast this spell.</DIV>

<DIV>I'm bringing this thread back up because I believe that it is an issue that needs to be fixed. Others have read it from other class types and they do not see any of their buffs taking up power, at least none have spoken yet that might. I am wondering now If I am the reason why my MT is always out of Power in raids when the rest of the group is just about full.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know that Templars have a 5% proc heal upon a successful attack that heals their entire group for x amount. It seems to proc more then our proc heals that is a 5% proc upon getting hit too. But their proc heal does not take power away from whomever procced it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To me this sounds like a coding error that should be relooked at. </DIV>

Shen I think the templar group heal proc spell has a chance to fire when a player character successfully attacks. Put that sucker up on someone who hits fast and yeah it's going to proc a lot more. I did ask on the templar board if it takes power every time the proc fires, so far the answer is no but Lairia is going to try watch to make sure. I'm not sure why it's taking them so long to fix this-it really makes one of our core buffs a liability rather than a benefit. <div></div>

<P>Ok, there has been 3 templar confirmations now on the Templar forums that their spell "Glory of Combat" does not drain power each time it procs. To me this sounds like a very important issue. I don't know if it was intended to drain power upon each proc or for so high but when you compare the spell to another priests spell that is very similar I would say that this is a bug. Besides Woodone's and Benison are both very powerful buffs and I dont want to have to drop them just because they drain my MT's power all the time.</P> <P>Should we /bug report it or post another thread somewhere else to see if it is actually a bug?</P>

I posted on the thread in the abilities forum. We need more support though to have it stay up on the list. It does need to be seen.

Dev Beghn is currently browsing the spells and abilities forums, he just posted on a brigand issue, I would have someone post with maybe a screen cap of the spell description and an explanation of the problem. :smileyhappy: I didnt see the thread there that you guys said was already posted. I cant imagine it would really hurt to post it again.

<P>Ty Lairia.</P> <P>We still need more back up on the forum up in the Skill's and Abilities forum to back this up now. Right now there are only 4 replies and does not look important enough to look at. Please put some more msg's up in that forum about this concern so that it can really get looked at.</P> <p>Message Edited by Shennron on <span class=date_text>04-27-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:13 PM</span>

Not assuming anything until I hear from someone on TC, but I sure do hope that is the case.

<DIV>As far as I can see, HoT procs still use power, and at an alarming rate. Fighting 4 blue mobs with one arrow down takes 90 % of my power, and I click NC proc off as soon as I see it. Lucky for me I have manastone <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lev 41 warden</DIV>

Do you play on Test? I'm wondering if the fix for this is in Update 8. The notes aren't really clear. <div></div>
