Sylvan Touch

Is is possible to get upgrades for Sylvan Touch?It's listed as App2 in my spell book but I'm guessing theres no App2 + or Adepts as there is no mastery figure (presumably it keeps scaling).Can anyone confim?

Sylvan Touch cannot be upgraded.It's one of the spells that increases in power indefinitely by levelling, but has no upgrade scrolls.

Sylvan Winds is still used by me at 50. Now, I have the Master 1 version, but still... don't underestimate the usefulness of that spell, especially when you're as yet too young to have met up with the nasty AOE monsters. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

In the high 40s you get an instant cast group HoT. It's always fun when you have those battles where you have to use Sylvan Touch, the instant HoT and all 4 aggro debuffs... Not to worry. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Our upgrade group heals are, frankly, quite bad- the mana efficiency is poor, and they don't heal *that* much more. Again, I'm using Master 1 of the first one, but still...Group heals are the only thing I'm really disappointed in as far as Warden healing is concerned. Hard to complain about the rest. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>Just for the record, any spell that is granted at App2 cannot be upgraded.  That seems to be the signal for that (Notice your HO starter comes at App2, or used to, the elemental, trauma and noxious cures all at App2)</DIV>

Just to confirm what Sepp said. At the end of Beta they started replacing spells that came at App 2 with names that didnt' have a tier marker, but the've missed a number. SOE seems to slowly be fixing that situation, however.

Yes sylvan touch is very useful even without upgrades. As noted you can cast it while running which I do about once every time I adventure (particularly useful when harevesting at places above your adventure level). Another important use is pulling agro off running friends. That is if someone in your group accidentally gets agro and is running you can use it to pull the agro off of them and onto you. May not seem very useful, however, It can keep them alive especially if they are nearly out of power and you still have some run time left. Dust cloud can also be useful for this (long range, fast cast, but need to be standing still so not quite as useful.)Lorical

At 48 you get an "upgrade" to Sylvan Touch, a group instant-cast HoT. The two are on different timers, as well.Since Sylvan Touch continues to improve at every level, I don't really see a need for it to be upgradeable with adepts or the like.

Sylvan Embrace is the 48 group instant HoT. It's a little odd, though, looking at the spell now:1) It has no tier marker, indicating that it can't be upgraded.2) It *does* have both a required level (240) and a mastery level (290), indicating that it stops improving at level 58- which is different from the indefinite-improvement of Sylvan Touch.
