<DIV>I know this has been covered in some other threads to some extent, but I have a question about the Warden Buffs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm currently a level 21 Warden. My Courage spell cons grey to me. Should I stop using it? I have seen in other posts where some say it's worthless and then some argue that they still use it at higher levels. Just like in a recent post where some have said Vigor is worthless also.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So which buffs ACTUALLY work? I've never actually tried to "test" the spells other than wolf form to see how it changes my armor class etc. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I guess what my question really comes down to is which buffs work and which ones are a waste of concentration. Sorry to beat a dead horse. :smileytongue:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Elistar</DIV> <DIV>Faydark</DIV>

<DIV>It typically comes down to courage vs. willowskin. Willowskin is pretty much an upgraded version of courage, but lacking a slight hp buff (if I remember correctly). Now each of has to decide for ourselves if that slight buff is worth more than a conc. bubble. For me, it doesn't. For someone else it might.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Vigor is the same way. It's a negligable power buff, and the conc. might be better spent using a group buff.. or maybe not. Another personal decision. I like having as much power as possible, so I do use a vigor on myself.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So my setup at 21 would be wolf form, verdure, willowskin, wild spirit, vigor (self). In about 75% of the groups i'm in, another priest class is already casting courage, so that's a non-issue, not that i would use it anyway.</DIV>

<DIV>I do the exact same thing as Enegar btw.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To me the extra power is more of a bang for the buck than 15 hps-ish per group member.</DIV>

Whether or not to use courage is only an issue in your early 20s. You end up with more than enough better group buffs to use, relegating both courage and vigor to your knowledge book, never to be cast again. As for me, I usually used it when it was still a question.

<DIV>I don't see any reason to stop using Courage until we get something better at 29.  If you run out of power you stop casting.  If you run out of health you die. So I value the hp from Courage more than the power from Vigor.  If I'm grouped with a cleric then I use Vigor on whichever DPS is using up power the fastest, otherwise I keep Courage up.</DIV>
