<DIV>Haven't been on the boards in the while, but I just wanted to comment on this spell since we've been talking about BOTG. Much like BOTG, this spell blows chunks in my opinion. At level 30, our old group regen spell as a Druid (Winds of Renewal is it?) seems to be capped at 70/tick healing for each group member at <STRONG>ADEPT 1</STRONG>. At <STRONG>MASTER 1</STRONG>, Blessing of the Earth only heals for 48/tick. I don't care if this spell is more mana efficient, it can't keep up with the healing it needs to do (especialy for the lag it causes to cast it ) and this spell absolutly sucks. When my group is taking 300-800dmg swings from lvl 30-40 mobs, I want the most heal a tick that a spell can give my party. Blessing of the Earth should be doing at least 100-150/tick at level 30 at Master 1, I don't care if you have to strip the Elemental buff off (I have other buffs that cover that anyhow). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In beta you (the developers) realised Group regen needed to be up'd with Regrowth, now you need to realise the same for Warden regens and PLEASE fix the spells accordingly. Thank you.</DIV><p>Message Edited by neblehK on <span class=date_text>12-07-2004</span> <span class=time_text>08:37 AM</span>

<DIV>I'm pretty sure this is just straight out broke. It heals about 36 / tick for me for about 5 rounds. If you read the description it says it heals a large amount of health over time to the party. Less than 200 hps per party member isnt large. I took it off my hotbar and put winds of renewal back.</DIV>

What con color is the spell to you?You do realize that old spells will still be better than new ones until you grow into the new ones...

Who thought this was a good idea? Even if the devs say this is how it is supposed to be, it seems more like a CYA excuse than an explanation.</DIV>

I recently got Frost, the upgrade to Chill. It is Orange to me, yet it does more on every cast than Chill does (both Adept I). I didn't need to grow into Frost for it to be more effective than Chill. Frost will continue to become more effective as I level up, but the point is it starts out better than the spell it is an upgrade to, which is how things should work. The same is true for other spell lines, all except for healing. The healing spells are flat out broken.

I got it 2 levels go. Even so, as pointed out below a Master 1 spell (even as orange) should not be outdone by an Adept 1 spell that I got 10 levels before. It is true that spells grow in power with your level as my Regrowth for instance finally capped out at 101/tick when it turned grey at Adept 1. However, as pointed out below with the chill/frost example, a newer spell should still be more powerful than an older spell.... especially when the new one is a Master 1 and the old one is only an Adept 1 (not to mention a supposed upgrade).</P> <P>I'm sorry, but Blessing of the Earth does very much suck. Any higher level Wardens Im sure will also be happy to confirm.</P>
<DIV>By the color con concept, those spells that have been gray for.. oh... 10 levels.. should just be abysmal as well - but as the original poster pointed out, thats not true. At level 30, Im still waiting for my single target regen we get at 24(?) to catch up to my very very gray Regrowth. Its about halfway there... heals for 84 vs 101 now, whohoo!!! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Amusingly tho, I actually forgot about Blessing of the Earth. I got it, tested it out, griped to myself that it was even worse than the regrowth-->blessing of the grove upgrade, and promptly took it off my bar. Thanks for reminding me I should check on it again... or in a few levels... *sigh*</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do have to say, my guild was amused when I got Natures Caress - I was actually shouting for glee "A heal thats an upgrade!!!" I got more congrats for that than I did for hitting 30 <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>At level 33:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My master 1 Blessing of Earth does: 10 ticks of 54 = 540 heal, over 24 seconds at 214 power</DIV> <DIV>My adept 1 Blessing of Earth did: 10 ticks of 40 = 400 heal over 24 secs at like 190 power or something</DIV> <DIV>My adept 1 Winds of Renewal did 5 ticks of 70 = 350 heal over 20 secs for 118 power.</DIV>

The group spells have the same problem as BotG: Slower and less efficient despite healing "more" in the long run.Useless spells until that gets fixed.
