I'm interested in this as well. My post below asks if i should go through battle cleric first or do KoS AA first.

I suggest going down the STA line in the cleric tree before hitting the Inquis tree for battlepriest lines. Getting 100% crit in melee attacks ensures that all those CAs you use hit for crit dmg along with every auto-attack. Add that to the battlepriest AA and you are nasty one to mess with.

I've never read about crit% having an effect on your tohit%...Also, while I agree that getting 100% crit is huge, if your starting an INQ from lv 1, I say fill out 4 Battle Cleric abilities to 5 points, get battle cleric and then go for 100%crit in STA line. To get full benefit from the 100% crit you will need good weapons and you will have to change them often. After you have some CAs, you don't bother with upgrading them ever again.

I say this because you can get some of those BC abilities even before you have the spell version of it. Plus, most importantly, you will not have to bother to look for adepts of the spell versions while leveling up. That is my favorite feature of going BC. At lv 70, I don't particulary like it. The mitigation bonus and the crushing bonus will be a great help while leveling too.

I started a Fae Warden with this mentality, and I have my AOE combat art maxed out and I still don't have the first spell version of it.
