<div></div>Hail fellow Inquisitors,This is my first post on this forum but I've been a long time reader. I'm a lvl 70 Inq with 90AAs and want to maximize the survivability of my tank. I've grouped with the same tank for around 50 levels, he's a 70 SK with around 86 AAs; He has 80% Heal crits vs. my 20% Heal crits. My AA spec currently is:KoS Sta 4-4-5-8 Int 4-4-4-8-8EoF 5/5 Imp Pious 5/5 Imp Convict/Forced Obedience/Debase 5/5 Invocative Strike/Writhing Strike/Strike of Flames/Litany Circle 1/1 Battle ClericI'm tentatively planning on putting my last 10 points into getting Imp Verdict. I've read many of the AA posts of how people are spending their points, this is what I believe to be the best spec in terms of healing; It was also partially by process of elimination of what was broken (Verdict) and didn't really make sense (Maladroit) or not worth the significant point expenditure for not much of a benefit to healing (The Entire Triage Line). I took Pious because it was the only thing that is halfway decent out of the Triage line. I took the debuffs to soften the damage coming into the group, because EoF content coupled with the avoidance/mitigation changes have made things fairly challanging. As a side note, I totally neglected the whole Forced Obedience line of spells until I hit 70 and my Tank told me I was being dumb when I wasn't debuffing the mob's ability to hit him by 7 levels. Finally I took Battle Cleric because It basically is free stats and the CAs are nice because I'm on a PvP server. Anyways, on to the question! So we were debating which would be the better spec in today's combat environment, Heal crits from the Sta line or Shield Ally from the Agi line. I firmly believe that the Int line is solid the way it is; There have been many times where I just can't pump out enough healing per unit time to compensate for damage coming into the group, it also synergizes well with Death March. Starting the game, Heal crits seemed like the obvious choice; I've played a healer before in other games and crits are always good. I know that direct heals (Fanatical Healing, Devoted Ministration/Bounty of the Virtuous, Reproachful Alleviation) all use my Heal Crit modifier. But as naieve as it sounds, I don't know if my reactive heals use my crit modifier or his; He believes it uses his Heal crit chance. Personally, I'm not sure so I came here for insight.I also came to for some feedback on how effective Shield Ally is in light of the recent combat changes, my Avoidance is around 16% right now, but that's not including the Agi I would get from the 1st rank of the Agi line, in addition I could probably pick up gear that would further capitalize on this resepc for more Avoidance. 56% of the time, he would use my 16% Avoidance check on damage that passes through his avoidance, or at least that is how I understand the ability to function. That's roughly a 9% damage reduction on the damage that passes his avoidance. Is this worth the point expenditure?Well I know I went off on a few tangents, but it was a long discussion we had. Thanks in advance!<div></div>
