Ok, So, i was bored, and i decided to check out our whole fabled class set, and crunch the numbers to see what kind of + it gives to each stat. To my suprise, it has a grand total of 25 STR. Now, im not really complaining, since i have never been a fan of the battle cleric type play of the inquisitor class, but can people make up their minds already? It just doesnt make sense to make an entire AA line for EoF Based around Melee damage, then almost completely ignore that stat on our Class armor. anyone else find it a little odd that they would take AAs one way, and then give absolutely no support to it when making gear for the class?

couldnt edit for some reason.but back to the point. i could understand if their reasoning behind it was to make the fabled set gear more towards healing etc, because healing is usually our primary role in raids, but would still like some enlightenment.

In my opinion it was made to placate the masses who think we are only healers and nothing else. Granted most of those people who think that will never own this armor but it makes them feel better knowing they can look it up on a website and use it as a reason for why we are only healers and shouldn't have any other skills but that.

I'm not bitter though. I would suggest though Jago pumping up your STR as much as you can and comparing the diffrences in /weaponstats. I think you might find STR to be overrated for us. We don't need str to kick butt and the class armor having wisdom on just about every piece if not all pieces is a step in the right direction even if we don't even need that much. I think even with 800 STR our damage increase might equal to about 50-100 more dps. When it comes to min maxing though I can see your point though and I was dissappointed it had no str either but as soon as I saw that I decided to do a comparison and going from 200 to 400 str self buffed didn't modify my damage by a super large amount. The excellent thing though is the sheer amount of mitigation on it. With the mitigation the armor gives and the 10% from battlecleric, you won't need a second set of armor with that one. So don't be too disheartend cause to be honest stats mean crap after 400 or so anyway.

It seems that lots of class set armor is kind of messed up stat-wise. I seen a Dirge in my guild complaining about his set because His set didn't give INT. Thankfuly we have some nice set buffs like the +100hp / 10DPS mod for aura. I am looking forward to getting some pieces now that IS is dropping set stuff more often afaik.I like to have some extra STR gear so i can toss that on if say my guild wants to do a KoS raid like Labs for gearing up some alts or recruits and it starts to get boring......so i put the str stuff on and grab my "Proverbial-Hammer" ask for a few procs and try to beat the bards on the parser =] Got something like 600-750 dps on one of the named in labs.Anyway back to the set >< I am kinda glad to see they decided to give us a good amount of WIS this time. hate to see the templar's and wardens with like 700+ wis and im sitting at a lowly 520. Though, I guess i could have 100 wis and it wouldn't make much of a difference on a majority of fights, save from the few high end bosses, with the help of Chilling inquest and some bard or chanter regen.I will probably say something different when the time comes but I don't see my self using every piece of the set. maybe just 5 to gain the dps mod. I like some of my current gear such as the MO bp but im sure if the inq bp dropped i would have to use it just because.Sry i kinda went on a bit of a rant there i didn't really sleep lastnight so i am kinda tired :smileyindifferent:P.S I heard you ( SD ) Cleared Emrald Halls. just wanted to give ya a nice big GRATZ :smileyhappy: did any inq stuff drop?

Treyloth isn't too bad he just hasn't been killed enough to seen the inquisitor helm drop. I am curious if it is just a blue knock off of our pope hat though. If so I am gonna be slightly dissappointed that they couldn't come up with a new armor design for helms. Can't expect too much though they still haven't made the rest of the helms for the classes that don't have a unique one. In any case hope it just has a new texture at the least.

The helm is something I'm looking forward to seeing with the rest of the set. On beta with the Nem Ahnk set, the helm they gave me was a copy of the sucky brigadine style helm and I made SURE to let them know how it would be recieved. I sent in screenshots of each class helm for the Inq while wearing the armor and several others so they could see how much none of them really matched the set. Hopefully they will have a new design for the thing.

im pretty sure that a set of fabled inquisitor gear was handed out to someone during beta, but that is just an assumption, since it was the only full set of gear that i saw on a database site before every piece was discovered on live (and i believe the helm is still undiscovered, so i would think that this has to be the case)so maybe we can find the lucky person who got it and get a pic!
