Started to duel a friend fury for fun, but it seems he always win by oop, here is the setup :- gear : T7 relics/blackcoat + prismatic gauntlet for haste + some raid T7/T8 loot but no adornement- weapon : blackscale maul + godking (alternate can be staff of flapping wing and staff of enlightenment)- aa : str 8-8-8, sta 4-5-8-8, detrimental line 5 convict + 5 obedience + 5 debase + 5 pious + 1 invocation- spell up : all buff + yaulp and convertIn duel, I start equiped with godking to cast skull crack then switch to blackscale maul for hammer smite, debuff/heal a bit then zealotry. The fury use fast nuke spell, pets and then bear form that regenerate mp a lot. We have each other strong resists so most debuff are usually resisted.Any advice on how to improve my inq would be appreciated, I am thinking of maybe buy a haste cloak and proc adornement. Btw I was a raiding inq who can now switch to battle priest.

My guess is if you have battle priest, you'll whoop him good. STR would be better than Int for the damage against another priest in pvp. battle priest combat arts are str based for the dd portion and int based for the dot portion.

Quite fun. The fury is debated to be the most powerful class in that range.

Personally, I'd dump Yaulp. The 20% haste/DPS isn't going to help as much as the extra power will. Fanatacism will more than make up for the lost haste. Also raise your heat resists as much as possible as quite a few of their bigger spells are heat based. Also keep in mind that you have an advantage with regards to lowering resists with Absolving Flames.

Edit: Forgot to mention to use Herecy and time your Skull Crack as much as possible. Interrupting their heals can drastically reduce the length of the fight. Also remember that you can use Verdict at 10% health against PCs.

Message Edited by Gobbwin on 01-08-2007 03:32 AM

an inquisitor should almost never lose to another healer, solely because of the Inquest line, cant go wrong when draining their power and filling your own back up

My power last longer when Im merely healing and autoattacking with my big, nasty hammer, than theirs do when they are nuking like crazy and healing my autoattacks. End result is, I have power left when they run out, and just lay some hurt down.

I could never beat the only inquisitor I tried to duel because he had limitless power and my power went fast. Not to mention he resisted maybe 4/5 of all my spell damage... lame

Dopey question time...

How does one switch weapons rapidly during combat? I'm assuing there's some trick besides just dragging it from the bag to the inventory window, which seems really awkward and slow.
