Hello everyone. :smileyhappy:I was wondering about litany's interrupt component. Is this something that anyone has gotten the hang of using?I've recently played a game where timing interrupts can play a very big role in battle, but am having trouble with litany. I want to get the CA litany so that I can interrupt faster, but wanted any tips out there from people who have managed to use the interrupt component effectively in battle.Any visual cues to look for to alert me to use litany, or perhaps use it when the enemies hp is at 5% to stop them from healing? I am clueless and any guidance would be much appreciated.Take care! :smileyvery-happy:

There is usually a sound and an animation associated with casting spells.

You can probably get some help in the form of mods to the game to further assist.

If it was a big priority you could set up a combat oriented chat window to show you when mobs start casting.

On most of the fights in the game it won't matter, but there are a select few mobs who can 1 shot you (or anyone in your group) if they get a spell off.

I don't use it or invocation for their interrupt component unless I'm soloing...but if you're going to get anything besides coincidental interrupts, you've gotta go with eof battle aa line... .5 second cast time and garunteed interrupt on invocation = precious.

Even if you do happen to land it while they're casting without the battle version you only have a 50% chance to interupt.

Bah, I just realized the difference in interrupting in this game. The interrupted skill does not have to wait it's full recharge to be used again. Since remembering that I really wouldn't be doing much accept delaying the skill being used for a couple of seconds! I'm guessing the interrupt component is something that is just for stacking with other interrupts from other players to lockdown a target?

An interupt doesn't do much in EQ2 in pvp (I'm guessing) because they can just start casting again.

NPCs usually don't start casting right away if you interupt them so it's usually a pretty valuable thing to be able to do.

Its probably gonna buy you enough time. Especially if you catch it a fwe times during a fight. Not getting a comet on your head 3-5 times makes a huge difference. Otoh, if you see a defiler starting one of their nukes, you might as well just go about your buisness as usual.

Now I know what to watch out for. I'm wondering if I need to change my graphic settings to tell what is being cast. Right now it's very hard to notice. In fact that's not all. NPCs don't appear until I am getting close to them. Arrrgh.

While I'm sure there are some PC related factors about npcs loading, the slow loading is something many people are experiencing and they are trying to improve it.

It got bad when frostfell arrived, maybe it'll get better when it's over.

There was at least something about performance in there. Seems they didnt do their testing properly.
