<DIV>As I level my Inquisitor, I stop and focus on raising every single skill to max before proceeding to the next level.  I noticed my Disruption skill really started to lag behind.  I tried for over an hour without a single skill up in Disruption, and knew something was up.  I right-click examined the two skills mentioned in the title, and noticed they don't even list an associated mastery (skill).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I then started using the actual <EM>spells</EM> these abilities replace (oppression and greater invocation for my level), and got all my skill ups in a matter of around 20 minutes (ie they came normally at this point).  Using the mentioned <EM>abilities</EM> will not grant Disruption skill ups (I assume this is intended as there isn't a mastery even listed as associated with them as there is on spells).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My question is, therefore, do these abilities simply <EM>ignore</EM> the Disruption skill?  I don't understand why they work in this way if so.  I'd appreciate it if someone has an explanation, and thanks in advance.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Xynok on <span class=date_text>12-31-2006</span> <span class=time_text>06:07 AM</span>

this question is uber. i guess... my understanding of this type of skills ( invocation line, liant line ) they are all have a chance to interrupt a spell or CA. it will show in the screen interrupt, not the spell goes red started it over. it can interrupt CA too and make people can't use any skill in about 0.5 second or 1 second like that ( the effect looks like they got knocked down ) I am not sure about this at all... this is just personal feeling though<div></div>

The inquisitor Combat-Arts , are that they are named for . Combat-arts. So they are based on melee skills : crushing, offensive , strengh . Disruption ,ministration, ordination, subjugation are working only on real Spells . Aswell for focus skill , it wont work on EoF CAs.(btw they are way too fast to be interrutpted and it's very great).only way to improving casting skills is using spell casting . hope that helps to clarify =)  to resume : spells/casting skills , CAs/melee skills. <DIV>Combat arts do not get interupted.... I've been punted in the middle of one and still completed it while flying backwards through the air.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My inquisitor was made post EoF and has gone battle from the start so my disruption is only like 200/330 which I have found kinda bad for the mitigation debuff we have, but it doesn't hurt my dps at all.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you don't get a good amount of the + to crit in the kos stamina line and don't go all the way to get the end ability in battle line I wouldn't even bother with it.  Unless you have an especially high chance to hit, and crit with these combat arts, the damage they do is gimped.  If they miss you have to wait for the full cooldown unlike nukes which have a shorter cooldown for being resisted.  Plus there's a nice power reduction for the final ability in the battle line.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would go so far as to say you need 8/8 (+100% to crit) in the KoS stamina line, plus the final ability in the battle line for EoF for this line to be worth taking.</DIV><p>Message Edited by TheSpin on <span class=date_text>01-01-2007</span> <span class=time_text>10:28 PM</span>
