Hi, I haven't played in quite a while and remember inquisitor being really, really slow to kill. I levelled a berserker to the mid 40's and am now debating between continuing to level him or start an inquisitor. Inquisitors always appealed to me in that they seem really evil, but I didn't want to deal with the slow levelling. It looks like the aa's will help some, but how long will it be before they are useful? Also, which class does better in pvp and/or is needed more in groups, berserker or inquisitor? Thanks.

We are great soloers and always have been. It just takes us a little longer to kill the mob, but it is going to die. An Inquisitor is needed more then a zerker on a raid IMO, and we are better in PvP, at least that is PvP on a PvE /Duel server.

I regularly steal aggro off a bruiser my level with my dps. Battle line combined with the stamina kos line gives you excellent dps.

At levl 59 with 80ish aa (lots of questing) and with master single reactive and group reactive I was soloing level 57^^^ heroics in the sunken city. No Joke...my gear isn't even too special, only one piece of mastercrafted, rest treasured.

Don't listen to everyone until you try it yourself. Especially if you are rolling a new toon. Most of the people complaining on these boards have had their inquisitors for a long time and having assimilated the recent changes to the class.

So you can outdps a bruiser, heal, and wear plate? Did they overcompensate for previous shortcomings?(aka, nerf incoming?)

I'm not sayin I out dps him necessarily (though I think I might on orange mobs with the 100% crit chance and the big + to crushing skill) but my dps combined with heals & debuffs, plus the broken taunts atm (aggression skill comes out today) means he has a hard time keepin em off me.

As for taking agro from a bruiser, I never do unless I reactive on pull. But we do have a pretty heinous agro setup, between our .5 second cast uninterruptable dps abilities, half of which dot and debuff, our 1k+ 1 sec cast uninterruptable aoe, fanaticism (can you say "holy buff agro?") and both the initial and long term agro effects of reactive heals. And that's assuming a tanking role, when we don't have time or the ability to toss our debuffs. It's pretty nuts actually. With that said, however, the bruiser goal should lie in improving the bruiser class (which sadly has been overnerfed and is currently the saddest shadow of its former self than I've seen since the ranger "fix").

Message Edited by rckmer on 12-20-2006 11:31 AM
