<DIV>ok i finally crumbled and respecced my dps focused aas and turned them into as far as i could, more supportive AA's.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>so off went my 100% crit and dps boost and in came faster casts, more chance to crit, greater range and more sta to my buff.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i went int 44488 sta 4448 and a bonus point in wis then i went down the triage line in the inquis aa tree, going 3, then 5 in the stam boost and 5 in the next one and 5 in the other one and basically threw the remaining points in anywhere to get 20 in it for the range increase. i also went partially back down the battle line, as i believe that end ability, cheifly the armour increase is gold under the new changes.</DIV> <DIV>so i was specced, i grabbed my best healing gear, and hit some instances and death toll with my guild.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>well first off the range increase, haha i thought no more heat/cold eye ball aoe of doom for me. not true, despite the tank being 35 meters away i still got hit, i was 5 behind the other healers of the raid and still got hit. hmm i thought mayb just this mobs aoe. everysingle mob that aoed still got me despite me chilling at the back with the cloth wearers. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the sta boost provided a truely massive 14 or so sta, we all were super impressed with this one. the instant rez lower cast time is cool, once every 7.5 mins instead of every 10 could be usefull but not worth the aas. basically the whole triage line can kiss my [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn].</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>ok well how about the faster casts and more crits? </DIV> <DIV>8 AA's for less than 20% faster casting is not worth it. fanatical healing went from 3 secs to 2.64  big ficking deal. you notice no discernable difference. the end AA divine recovery was very nice, but its 24 secs every 5 mins, so its kept for hard fights or named and yes its cool, but the rest of the line is junk.</DIV> <DIV>and the heal crits were nice sure but not something to rely on.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>simply put it was a waste of the few silver to respec and ive since gone back to 448 in agi sta and str with the final one in wis, just for the hell of it, and gone 20 points in the battle line and im trying what to do with my remaining 8 points,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i can solo again, on raids im still helping the dps gorup kill better and i add quite a bit myself. in group i dont feel like a heal bot im an active contributing member of the group.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>just thought id throw down some thoughts on the "healing" AA's. i also now understand why so many of you are frustraded wanting to play a pure healer with these AA's. simply put you get no real benefit. and i understand better now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/rant off</DIV>

It just seems that the Cleric side of this class has been forgotten when AAs were designed. i dont think that they would overhaul AAs at this point in the expansion, but one could only hope that they will. Fixing bugs and making the AAs that COULD be decent for raiding/healing/support would definitely be a step in the right direction tho.</div>

<div></div>Well, I have to disagree with you about the casting speed. I do notice the difference between 3 secs and 2.64secs, especially when chain casting. And if you were to do the math I think you'd find you can throw in an extra 2k of healing every 15-20 secs or so. I played with the improved casting speed before EoF and respec'd to DPS during EoF. Now I've gone back to the old setup and I'm sticking with the casting speed boost. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Spoof on <span class=date_text>12-06-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:20 AM</span>

Don't forget though that SoE pretty much gave the finger to all healers in EoF.  Isnt there like only 1 actual "heal" type aa with something to do about a debuff cure/reactive or something? <div></div>
