View Full Version : Fix the bugs. Inquisitor AA enhancements are a half-baked joke

<DIV>Straight to the point: Two of the 5 point Inquisitor AA Enhancements are broken/bugged.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Enhance: Fanaticism</DIV> <DIV>Enhance: Verdict</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is disgraceful.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have already expressed my issue with Enhance: Fanaticism in detail on another post. It penalises the Inquisitor in an undeclared and severe manner. This undeclared penalty needs to be removed, at the very least.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Enhance: Verdict is also broken. It simply does NOT work. Yes, it simply does nothing, it is a total waste of 5 AA levels.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Did any real beta testing get done (on Inquisitors)? Or were people only interested in trying to learn the strats for raid mobs, and get the statistics of the new loot? These two AAs failing to perform as declared is a massive slap on the face for all Inquisitors who put effort into their character, and try to max their levels and AA.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Inquisitors have had a rough run at the hands of SoE since the tail end of Tier5 (before Desert of Flames was released). I am getting sick to death of being the class that seems to be little more than an afterthought for SoE, and is often left bugged, incomplete or simply short on options. I hold absolutely no love for the entire set of AAs offered to us in EoF. I honestly regard their value as borderline insignificant. When the AAs that might have been partially useful are bugged and disfunctional, it is a sad state of affairs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As a customer who pays to play this game, this post is a straight up, simple message: Fix the bugs. I know they have been reported, but no response has been issued, and nothing done about it to date.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am tired of being ignored, and I will not go away. I will gladly discuss these matters with anyone on the SoE team / Dev staff. Here, in-game or email will work a charm.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Avirodar</DIV> <DIV>- 70 Inquisitor of Dissolution, Nektulos Server.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Trinral on <span class=date_text>11-30-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:14 PM</span>

I'd have to agree with the OP.Verdict was ok in beta. it works well. but after the Devs changed the punishment, it does nothing.completely, so now no matter you get the AA or not you get verdict enhance already which means everybody got the enhance verdict without spending any AAs. if you put 5 points on it, omg too bad for you<span>:smileysad:</span> <span>:smileysurprised:</span><div></div>

I don't think we can dictate how this problem is fixed, ie whether the description or the functionality changes. However, it's totally reasonable to ask that the description match what's actually happening, however that is accomplished.<div></div>

I dunno... it happens in real life too. you looking for a coffee maker, you bought one from a shop. after you came back home, you find out that it's a ricecooker.same thing here... you created a evil cleric to be a good healer. after you ding level 70, you find out that it's not really a healer class. <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span><div></div>

<P>I dont think any real Inquisitor's were representing us properly in beta, makes me want to find time for it now</P> <P>I wasted a respec because of verdict enhance, that was the first tree I climbed. After getting more info on the assassin AA bleed ability after release however, verdict enhance has become less attractive. It would still be useful, but no where near as it looked on paper</P> <P>Ephrael of Paradigm</P> <P>Oasis</P>

there were plenty of threads about inquisitor bugs and the displeasure of the route they were taking with our class, which met the same demise as the last Bug thread that Avirodar started, and will probably happen to others, the beta testing was broken down very well by a few inquisitors, but seemed to be completely ignored... i guess since we are a rare breed, our problems are not very high up on the priority list, since many of these bugs made it to live and are still here today.i agree with the OP that this is just downright pathetic, and i will help to make our problems heard until they are fixed or i am banned.

<div></div>Yep, checking in as the 3rd Inquisitor in this thread I saw in beta, we all posted, we /bugged, we /feedbacked. Don't assume that because things are the way they are we were all happy smiles about this. Myself and others posted, in fact, Inquisitors were *the* most vocal priests on the EoF beta boards. In fact, I had a whole thread devoted to the Verdict Achievement bug.On topic, I haven't spec'd the new Verdict Achievement currently, but as others stated, I really don't see much benefit to it even if it was working. =/ Hopefully all this suff has made Inquisitors more active as a whole and I'm hoping that exchange of information will be good for our class. Also, to the OP I would suggest fully spelling out the bugs in your first post. If anyone does see this that can fix it would require further research making it less likely to happen.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Ssinurn on <span class=date_text>12-01-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:13 PM</span>

I have to agree with both Ryklis and Ssinurn. In beta, we /bug, we /report, we /feedback, the devs they just totally ignore us. i guess it's the population. you know some classes not really popular, it doesn't really matter what people say anything about it.<div></div>

I'd expect a lot of changes in the next GU; there's so many bugs with our AA's at this point that it'd be kinda hard for SoE to just ignore them. Lots of high-end inquisitors will be pretty [Removed for Content] off if nothing happens.

<DIV>Given the devs get paid to correct this type of thing, I'd really hate to think they're unaware of the bugs we reported a month ago in beta. However at this point a simple acknowledgement from the devs that a fix is in progress would be nice.</DIV>

the fanaticism aa is totally a joke. i would rather to use the old fanaticism. it makes can't even solo heal the group...this is what I do.1. casting group reative before the heroic mob incoming2. after the mt pulled the mob, casting fanaticism.what happened here is all the preheal reative group reacitve nerfed to 50% mount...it's more like to cancel your preheals. 3. the fanaticism power will cost you from 22 per tick --> 35 per tick which is totally a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]i am just kinna thinking about this. before i got eof AAs I can do ok job in a raid or in a group. but after i got my eof AAs. I can't even do as good as what i had... this is not right. we sent so much /feedback /bug /report in beta where are they?? <div></div>
