Symbol/Strike of Corruption

I'm a little confused about the Bloodlines spell Symbol of Corruption and the new achievement option Strike of Corruption.  I never use Symbol because it's a level 35 spell that does insignificant damage at level 70: something like 35 per tick.  But according to the examine window, Strike of Corruption would do a pretty good amount: 140 or so per tick?  (I'm going from memory - at work right now.)  Is the Strike version supposed to be that much better?  Or do I just have a very lousy version of Symbol?  Or does the examine window lie?Does anyone know about this one yet?<div></div>

problem with symbol ,it's a bloodline ,so it doesnt scale at all  . The strike is AA ,so it's scaling accordingly<div></div>
