<DIV>Symbol of Corruption could be a very nice spell at later levels if it scaled up correctly as you level.  It has a nice long dot, 24 seconds and it goes off every 4 seconds and it has an initial hit as well for a total of 7 damage hits in 24 secs plus it debuffs wisdom also.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All of the other Bloodline class spells go up in damage and strength as one levels.  My Doom Judgement spell for my Paladin scaled up very nice indeed and is now around a 400 damage AOE, I believe it started out around 240-260ish in damage.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The only scaleing that works with the Symbol of Corruption spell is modifying your Intelligence for slighly more damage but the wis debuff always is at 28.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We should get this spell fixed asap, we are missing a nice dot out of our arsenal</DIV>

Correct, the -WIS debuff part does not scale per INT.Only upgrades to the spell quality cause it to increase ... at Adept III Symbol of Corruption is -38 WIS.Fyyre70 Inquis

<DIV>Right, correct... and it need's to be changed.  The spell should level up also just like other classes spells for the expansion.  Probably should be another 20-30 damage at app4 at level 70 and wis debuff should be another 8-15 points higher</DIV>

afaik the blc spells don't scale... though idk much about the non-hlr ones. The clerics did get the shaft though for these spells because the druid one is a pow + ft buff (who cares how much/little of each.. it's an extra buff that has no conc cost and a bit more pow and ft never hurt anyone) and the shammy spell is a -%dps debuff... so you can see how both those classes' spells don't need any type of scaling ot them at all and will still remain just as useful at 70 as they were at 35 (though the druid buff will eventually become a fairly weak buff I'm sure.. but it still won't ever be a complete waste like I feel the cleric one is).<div></div>

Some do scale actually, Devistation Fist for the Brawlers comes to mind.  As long as the mob doesn't have any up arrows, you can insta kill it.  It has a much higher probablity of landing if it cons white or lower.

<div></div>I thought the adventure pack spells went like thissplitpaw - all classes, @ lvl 20 once you do a bunch of quests for the gnolls - spell available on npc merchant in splitpaw den,  spell scales to lvl - in our case, bounty of the virtuous - slightly weaker heal than our small quick one and it has a % to give back power , sadly it is on the same timer as our weak/fast heal so useless imo, not sure do you other inq's use it? am I missing something?bloodlines - lvl 35 spell, not available for purchase from a npc, ( i thought, im guessing i am wrong now)-  I was under the impression that you had to get your guild spell maker to make you an ad3 of it - since it is a scribed spell, it does not scale to lvl.I assumed this framework would apply to other classes.<div></div><p>Message Edited by graxnip on <span class=date_text>10-23-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:46 AM</span>
