I recently rolled an inq alt,i was looking over his spells and aa line, and noticed that the fanaticism spell you get at lvl 70 "Stifles" you,now on the str(i believe) aa line theres an ability that cancles stifle and roots you for 25 secs. does this cancle the stifle from fanaticism? anyone experimented with it?

No, but you can flick fanatacism on and off at will so the stifle isn't a big deal unless you're in a situation where not healing for a few seconds is bad.

i have tried every way possible to not have fanaticism stifle me, fervent focus, status items, sanctuary, but it always stifles ya.the fact that it is so easily turned off makes it alot easier to catch up on healing if you have upgraded heals and a well geared tank.

I don't think it is even a matter of catching up with heals; fanaticism toggles so fast that you can do your normal healing, so long as normal isn't chaining ( :smileysurprised: ). The only trouble with toggling madly would be if you run convert. However, if you're running fanaticism, I'd imagine you aren't burning power that fast and can live with in.

Has anyone else noticed an inconsistancy with the recovery time from cancelling fanaticism? Most of the time, you are ready to cure right from the moment it falls. Occassionally you recieve a 1 or more second recovery time (odd because the spell even mentions 0.5s). Another inquisitor (in game) commented that this occurs more frequently in certain zones.

Certain zones are raided routinely by guilds, and could have greater traffic in that given zone (labs, dt anyone?). I don't know that for certain, but that seems like it'd most likely be what is causing that delay.

when i said catch up on healing, i meant topping the tank and the rest of the group off... i like to keep my groups at full health, never know when someone might pull an add, or in a raid situation, get smashed by an AE due to not listening to a joust call or having [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ty resists, or some stupid brigand losing AR by getting hit,

Little trick to use when you use Fanaticism. after Fana is up queue your next reactive single or cure debuff when you toggle off fana the queued action will fire off right away.

could be spell lag on the recast or you may have an item or a grouop member that procs faste recast times.. i have some mace that has a 10% chance to proc faster casting.. there might be somethign out there with faster recovery? ( the rift item maybe?)
