I cant speak for the other classesan inquisitor can do all of the above - except dish out tons of dmg - i mean that statement sounds like you are after warlock dps lol - we get the job done but by no means are you doing 800 ish dps at lvl 20, that figure is possible according to a few people here, if you are well geared with the proper AA's you can do that at end-game. As i do not run a parser i have no clue what i do dmg wise, but soloing goes rather fast these days and you can take on some seriously tough mobs with our class. - and as far as aa lines - the 100% melee crit with a slow 2 hander + yaulp = you crit on soanso for 800 + the double attack another 800. however it takes a few levels to get key abilities- so i would say inquisitor is a class that ages well. if you are one to get bored by lvl 20 and dump the class, then you will never see half of what inquisitors can do.There are many threads on which priest, fury vs inq, has the best dps. At the beginning of the game - hands down it is the fury. I've just started a baby fury to test that side of the grass, and I have found that it is extremely boring the first 23 levels - only then do they get a single target nook, up until then they have 2 dots - thats it.. ( but that n00k is very nice now that i have it )<blockquote><hr><div><div> </div> <div>Out of these 4 which can get all those jobs done or at least come close to getting them done.</div> <div> </div></div><hr></blockquote>All the priests can do that, heh shy of the templar, they probably can but you'll be asleep at the keyboard by the time it is done.If you are an alt fanatic with a short attention span then go fury. If you want a incredible class to play at later levels - go inquisitor.<div></div>

any of these classes can kill blue or white con groups if they put in the time gearing up and getting spells, but none of them would do it as well as a fury, or even a warden that is comparably compared to the classes you listed.no class, healers especially can magically just beat the hell out of mobs without trying. but the kind of class that you described to me screams fury, but since that isnt listed, ill try to compare the ones that you did.first off, Inquisitor: Inquisitors have lots of decent reverse damage shields, some good debuffs.dots and decent nukes. The fact that they have a Self DPS buff, a divine damage proc and their first AA gives 20% haste/DPS/Double attack gives them an edge over the rest of the classes when it comes to melee combat. they have 2 reactive spells, which proc on damage, so its easy to just cast them and then go back to nuking/smashing something with a hammer until the reactives wear off, or proc their max amount. the Inquest Line gives us a chance to have us proc power on any attack, so we can outlast alot of other healers as far as the power pool goes. The fact that Inquisitors wear plate gives them low avoidance, and interrupts have always been a big problem in the Cleric Community.Templars are a very similiar class, getting some good debuffs, the same reactives, and comparable nukes. They sacrifice more offensive buffs like the divine proc for more defensive buffs like a stoneskin proc and  for a proc that has a chance to heal the whole group. Templars and inquisitors have the same size reactives, but a templar's direct heals are slightly larger and cost more power. Templars also buff the most Raw HP in teh game, 1962 at t7 with all m1 spells.I have played the previous classes, so i know a good deal about them, but ill try to expand a bit on the shaman as well.As far as the raiding community goes, id say that wards are the gods of all heals. nothing better than just outright absorbing damage. leaves more room for error. Defilers are tied for having the biggest direct heals with templars. the nice thing about it is that their spells cost part power and part HP, so they are more mana efficent than a templar's heal. Shaman have very good debuffs that take away from a mob's attack speed, their DPS, and all of their attributes, making them do much less damage. the fact that both shaman debuff stamina also makes for a shorter fight. Shaman seem to have the worst DPS out of all the classes in the game, with a defiler having slightly more.both shaman have strong group buffs, with the defiler being able to buff the 2nd most amount of total HP in the game (at t7 its 1951 i think with all spells at master)no matter what class you take, you could turn it into a soloing machine if you get the gear and upgrade your spells, and most importantly learn the ins and outs of the class.  i dont think that there is a good chance of you soloing heroics at lower levels btw, but it definitely comes later with a templar/inquis.<div></div>

Well guys thanks for all the input...didn't think i was actually going to get such a good response...So far i I'm im going to run both classes up to about 20 see which one dose better....I've actually played a temp also he had no DpS at all but [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] he was the best healer I've ever ran...So i may go more towards the Inquis but we will see.

<DIV>If you are going to experiment with an Inquisitor, you really need to take him/her to 30 to get a basic idea. At 20 you'll have your reactive heals but you won't have any of the reactive damage spells which really become the core of soloing.  You will still only have the two DoT's and a weak nuke, all of which become secondary attacks to the reactives.</DIV>
