Really Starting to Like my Inq

<DIV>Just lvled to 47 and I am really starting to enjoy my inq a lot more than the early lvls. I recently became decked out in full ebon mastercrafted armor and with our buffs i usually have more MIt and HP than tanks that are 6 lvls higher than me. The damage spells are getting much better and with adding the INT AA line, I am finally finding myself winning a bit more when PVPing. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Does it get even better as we lvl?</DIV>

I am not on a PvP server, but from a PvE standpoint I can tell you that with good gear and AAs, an Inquisitor can be a true powerhouse.  The only thing I find to be lacking severely is group heals.  </P> <P>At 45 you got your first Inquest spell.  This spell, placed upon a fast melee class, has a chance to proc a power drain from the mob and you receive part of the power. Upgrade this. Makes up for your often enormous power usage in long fights. </P> <P>Have a look at debuffs. I believe that at 52 you get Heresy, which messes up healer mobs' ability to cast beneficial spells.</P> <P>Zealotry/Fanaticism. Turn this on at the right moment in a fight....36 seconds of melee haste and an intelligence boost.  Melee groups in a raid love this.  Solo, cast it on top of Yaulp and watch the mob's health drop off a cliff. </P> <P>At 55, you get a spell to remove control effects from yourself (Fervent Focus). What a shock to the coercer who thought he had you boxed in.</P> <P>When  you reach level 58, time for Convert, which is an unusual buff. It throws an additional heal on top of any reactive or heal cast on a single target. </P> <P>And just wait until 65 when you get Verdict. This is our hammer spell. Not a pet, a judgement. Depending on the mob strength, at a given percentage of health this will take down the enemy to ONE hit point.</P> <P> </P>

Heresy would be great for PvP I imagine, can totally remove a healer from the fight. the repentance line has a similar effect on fighters and scouts.

I had a good friend encourage me to stick with my inquisitor.  My 30's and 40's were [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] frustrating.  I'm not a hard core player, so maybe I wasn't playing it well, but it seemed like I was downright impotent against mobs and sometimes even singles at my level or above.  Things really started to break at 50, and once I got me some nice pristine cobalt armor, I'm really starting to have some fun with my Inquisitor.<div></div>

<DIV>I liked my inq fine in t3 and t4 but I was a twink. A lot of people start really enjoying it mid 40's, I assume it's the fact that inquest is probably the 2nd best mana regen skill in the game (still can't beat lich <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />) and the best any healer has, making us unstoppable for one group healing. Also the fact that for t5 and 6 you can m2 your reactives makes those tiers a lot better.</DIV>
