I'm on PVP server so might be a little different for me, but can any of you wiser folks give me some useful advice for when I get to 50?I'll prob hit 50 in about a week so I want to have a game plan for that point forward. What are the Coolest spells from 50-60? Are there any you where suprised by, or disapointed in?Will I still be using my lvl 40-50 spells once I hit say 55? Or do they all become obsolete? Can someone list out good Instances I can Group or Solo in?Thank you for any info!

So when you reach 55, you will no longer be using your lvl 40 spells as this is after the 14 lvl range. Some spells that scale will still be used though. Such as cures and the like.

Can someone list out good Instances I can Group or Solo in?

Hmm, iirc those are the lvls for Lavastorm and Everfrost. Permafrost is also a good zone for a group. Not much on the way of solo instances though. More HQ will open up though and should be one of your targets of choice. And there is always the splitpaw instances and such. And you also have some places in DoF that will suit your fancy as well.

Thank you for any info!

Not sure if any of this is helpful to ya, but explore and see whats out there.
The key is make sure you have a group, don't worry about dieing (you'll do it alot), don't sell yourself short. For PvP Repentance and Vengeance should be adept 3 or higher. These will win you lots of fights 1v1 in your 50s even against yellow and orange con players. Also get your carpet done ASAP unless you have access to a nightmare or mist runner. The 40% run speed is crucial as you'll be getting run down by people with at least that. Run with a group whenever possible, but thats common sense.Frevent Focus is a big spell to get for PvP. Great against monks or illusionists. Also keep an eye on your gear, you'll want to keep it as tip top on resists and mitigation as you can. Soloing you don't have a ton of options besides the tears grifters instances, but thats only so-so xp. Living tombs is good, but people do make the PvP rounds there to farm faction. If you can get a group there are tons of other instances you can do to avoid people.

What is the carpet quest? What is the fastest ride? I'm on the dark side. I only played to 50 before this server...was when game first opened..and I was on the Q side then. Seems so much different now.

The carpet quest starts in the croc hunter camp to the northwest of the SS dock. There is a carpet merchant guy there, talk to him, and you get a quest. Its a progression of 4 quests and at the end you get a 40% run speed flying carpet mount. The fastest mounts currently in game are the nightmare/mistrunners (nightmares are FP, mistrunners are Q). These are 48% run speed mounts that you can get if you are in a level 40+ guild. There is also a 48% run speed item that drops in Deathtoll, but you're a long ways from that at 50.

The carpet quests can be started at 47 or 48, IIR. The first quest is soloable, the second quest you will want a group for, and the 3rd and 4th you will definately need a group for. The 3rd and 4th each involve only killing one mob, but they are tougher fights than a regular heroic at those levels. The 4th quest guy has a downright evil AE that if he's Orange to you is going to kill you. find a few higher level folks to help you with that last step.

On a totally different direction, there is another quest line you will want to work on. That is the access to Shimmering Citadel and then Poets Palace. The quest line starts with Zeke Two Tones in Maj'dul. Once you have access to Citadel you can get the quest starter for palace. Getting access to Citadel gives you another place to xp and working on the quests should be decent xp as well. Poets Palace is a high 50s/low 60s instance with some pretty good legendary drops for its teir.
