I mean I am not gonna use 184 power to cast some root for only 14 seconds.. anyways.. you can remove it from the spell book now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://praetorianorder.net/wenbo/dd1.jpg"><IMG src="http://praetorianorder.net/wenbo/dd2.jpg"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>power reduce 5 cost. seems it's a hot fix. before lu24 even 23, this is a broken spell. which means the stifles never works. I do have an agguement with my friend about this. he said the stifle works, it's just a chance. my point is it is not. it says the spell <FONT color=#ff3300>during 3 seconds</FONT> and I personal think it should stifle the target for 3 seconds. but actually it never work that way it does stifle like 0.5 seconds. then it's gone.. it does exactly like an interrupt. Stifle will last 3 seconds if u dont dmg the mob...if u have a dot or r currently melee it wil break

Demoniac is right on this one, the stiffle never applied as stated, the icon was there for maybe 0,1 seconds and then it was gone, regardless of whether the mob was damaged or not.Basically the invocation spellline had - for all intents and purpose - an interrupt included.<div></div>

<DIV>except it was always, now it's 50% chance. But all in all, i have to say, if all interupts are made to be just a chance of interuption, i'll be one happy healer playing on a pvp server. At 50% it'll still be near constant interruption and almost impossible to cast, but at least it's an improvement..</DIV>

<P>My take on the changes.</P> <P>Forboding Conversion: Fear line currently used to temporarily deal with adds to other members in my group. Rarely used. I regard changing from a root to a mesmerization at the end of the fear as an upgrade. Total duration (fear+effect) is greater. All in all an upgrade. No expected change to my usage of this spell line.</P> <P>Detain: Root line currently used to temporarily with adds that attack me while grouped (root and move out melee range). Rarely used. The changes to what can break the spell are a slight upgrade. Cutting the duration down to 14 seconds renders this spell pretty much useless for my current use. Could have some use to debuff mobs while soloing, but I haven't bothered with that tactic since the duration was cut in half before. Uses far too much power for what it does. This one will be removed from my hotbar.</P> <P>Ruthless Invocation: Used very occassionally when soloing to finish a HO. Used only as a damage spell. Never counted on the stifle effect and wont miss it. Dont see much use for the interupt effect chance either. Kind of hard to tell without knowing INT scores but it looks like this spell was set back to what it was before the attempted cleric dps upgrade. Bit of a downgrade. Will be used about the same which is a distant 3rd to the reverse damage shields and DoT/Debuffs (4th if I can use one of the specialty smites).</P> <P>Facile Grace: No opinion. I didn't plan on going INT line anyways.</P> <P> </P>

Checked my spells after LU24, and noticed a weird thing : Fanaticism have a resistability increase for mob higher than 90, Disorientation has 89, Root is 81, fear is 81 and Heresy is 72.Ok I understand the statement in patch note that after 20 levels your spell get resisted more offen, but why Fanaticism? Does that mean you will resist even your own buff or groupmate?<div></div>

I'd give my right arm to be able to cast it on the move... I'm bummed about the short time, but I still use it a lot. The mez on the fear is my new friend, once I get everyone to leave that guy alone long enough for it to take, lol.<div></div>
