Now we know that there is coming a new expension that raises the lvl cap to 70 i wondered...In the current spel system you get a upgrade of a spell every 14 lvls.If they continu to use this we only get a new single reactive and the group heals...That wouldn't be fun... :smileysad:

Well, first of all, it's the same for all priests... our basic heals and specialty heals all come at the same levels.... secondly, everything 56 and under will be upgraded. For heals, this means our group heal, single-reactive, and group-reactives. Our reactives will be relatively much more powerful than they are currently.

Ofc are the next generation reactive's much more powerfull. But that will be compensated by mobs hitting harder. After the release of DOF we had a gap of 8 lvls where we got no heals 46-54 (panic heals not counted).Im not saying i only want to get heals or need more heals, but maybe they should get spread out a little more.I play a Inquisitor because i want to be a healer, not because i want te grind from 60-68 before we get a new heal...

Well look on the bright side, at least we get a mitigation buff! And as mentioned its the same for all priests, so not like the game balance won't reflect it.

I know this sounds silly, but there is more to healing than the heal spells. We'll get new debuffs fairly early in the expansion, and other classes will as well. I have parsed my debuffs alone (adept 3 Forced Compliance and Vitilation) dropping mob dps by 20-25%, I am sure new debuffs would drop it by even more. Also, don't forget our mitigation buffs to both spells and physical damage. We get a new physical mit buff at 61. ALSO Fanatical Healing will likely be a m2 option at 64, although depending on the potency, I may personally choose the upgrade to Forced Compliance if it's offered. Here is a guess-list of what spells we would get at what levels:

61 - Upgrade to Fearful Conversion, and a new group Mitigation/Sta buff

62 - New emergancy group reactive and an upgrade to the Forced Compliance line.

63 - a new Str/Int debuff, and an upgrade to Act of Faith line

64 - new rez?...and possibly an upgrade to zealotry...hopefully no stun this time?

ALSO a new M2 at this level...Fanatical Healing will probably be an option

65 - upgrade to the fire DoT line

66 - upgrade to Heresy (I would really like to see it affect all spells, not just beneficial ones...like the mystic debuff), and an upgrade to Sentance

67 - new Root and Mental DoT

68 - new single reactive, and SHOULD be new Heretic's, if they would properly adjust the lvl 55 heretics to 54.

69 - likely when we'll actually see the new Heretic's, divine intervention type spell, AE deagro/stun and self (maybe group?) effect purge.

70 - new group reactive, group instant heal, and flagellant cure.

I am sure SoE will add new spell lines in there as well, like the level 52 and 55 spells we got that had no previous incarnations.

Yes the upgrad to the Single target reactive will be nice, but the raid impact of this is marginal at best, mainly because of stacking, but also because of the massive damage doled out by raid mobs. For raids, healers rely HEAVILY on instant heals. Before our entire guild was 60 we flatt out refused to take any healer who hadn't hit 57 simply because the T5 instants just did not cut it. You needed at least your combat heal as T6. Now with the new progression this will be an almost obsolete spell at level 70. Is there any hope of your combat heal even making a slight dent in the damage a tank will be taking from a level 75 mob?

To see for yourself the difference, line up your T5 combat heal and T6 combat heal next to each other on a hotbar, and heal a tank on a simple heroic mob. Just watch how much of a difference this makes.

The only hope is that the mobs are tuned to take this into account, as it will be the same accross all healing classes. The arch heal should help some, as it will only be 10 levels out of date. Convert helps us here too, as it will continue to add to our new specialty heals and such, making them a little more useful as well. The power hit will also be less of an issue as we level. Based on this you could even argu that inquisitors might be uniquely equipped to handle the [Removed for Content] healing thats coming.

whatever type of lame minimalistic AA system they have will probably offer something to make up for the lack of tier 7 heals. Maybe you'll be able to get a .05% bonus to direct healing!

what does it matter if we get no new heals? no one else does so it's not going to make a huge diff on mobs, im happier with new debuffs, it will make the difference in healing totally, and hopfully more healers into debuffin-zurr@neriak
