<DIV>This statement is on some of our 'nukes', where the secondary effect is pacify, or stifle. How are you guys using these, in light of the "don't receive additional damage" statement? The only use so far for myself is when soloing, to apply to an add...minimized dps for awhile from the add.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, I assume the stifle will interrupt casting of a mob we are attacking, even if the stifle is removed immediately on the next hit. The only drawback to this is the 25 sec recast timer...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, it looks like the 'pacify' effect stops auto-attack damage, where of course the stifle stops spells/combat arts. This 'pacify' is confusing for me, since in EQ1 it was a form of 'soothe' which reduced the aggro radius of a mob.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Erronn</DIV> <DIV>49 Inquisitor</DIV> <DIV>Unrest</DIV>

<DIV>Pacify is more of a stun type instead of a sooth type in EQ2. What I have found it useful for is if my debuffs are resisted outright, I can cast this, and get enough time to get debuffs off again. Or if I need a quick second to heal myself, which is rare hehe, I can do this and get that extra time to cast.</DIV>

I use it to pull caster mobs. While I wait on them to come within melee range I load them up with debuffs <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>
