What to do with rough opal?

Well, there really isn't much to spend your plat on besides spell upgrades and maybe a horse, so I would say upgrade a heal, preferably one that isn't already adept 1. Of course, if you are in the high 30's, you may as well just wait until you get your new heals.

If you like doing Heritage quests I think there is one where you need an opal...

The Stein of Moggok isn't even worth the opal used to make it, unless you just really need 50k status for some reason.

I'd sell it or use it for a Stein heritage quest. Status + 60 gold for selling to vendor isn't so bad.

1.5p for a T4 rare is outrageous.if you can actually get that much for t I would probably sell it.But if you are a Patron in your guild I would hold onto it for the stien heritage.
