So... all the inquisitors are super happy about getting to re-pick the group cure-poison now that they are level 25+ instead of the minor arch-healing training they originally spec'd. It's a no-brainer really, because of how helpfup the cure-poison spell is all the way through the higher levels. So I'm wondering now, as I get another training spec or two... should I pick what's good for NOW, or what's still viable when I hit 50. SOE has forced us to respec once, and then given us the optional /respec command TWICE now (on consecutive days, but still twice).Thoughts?

<DIV>I picked all specs that raised my PoT and wisdom.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I chose the minor healing option.  The group Poison cure is nice also, but I found the Minor healing one and it's very, very fast cast time to be great.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also chose the DoT Cleasing Fire (name might be off-lvl 30 I think).  All the options there did not seem all that great IMO.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Take every group cure that you can get.  These are invaluable in the end game. </DIV>

I took Gehna's healing arc (the so called minor heal) and it's still working like magic now at 34, even better then arch healing (that 1 second and increase in power for only a pithy.. what? 70 odd more hp? is sooo not worth it) I find it hilarious that my Stolrus's forced submission upgrade is actually BETTER then my level 34 forced sub upgrade. Heh.

You're nuts if you think taking anything other than group cure is the right choice. At low levels that minor heal might be useful, but it's totally worthless later on whereas the group cure is good forever.

<DIV>Why would you take max power pool over power regen?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Raid fights can last over 20min, I'm pretty sure the regen over that time would far outweigh the increased power pool, unless there is something I dont know.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>--Gendo</DIV>

<DIV>Yes - definitly take faster power regen over total power pool - raid mobs take 30+minutes (some rare toughies over an hour) to kill, and you will need the higher regen over that course of battle to make it.  And the group cure ( we only get poison and trauma, while the other healers get elememental as well :smileymad: ) is absolutly 100% essential in several raids where the dots do over 2k a tick and the entire group needs cured as soon as they land (the second tick will finish all but the high hp warriors).  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0033>Sutekh</FONT> 50 Inquisitor</DIV>

Well as a mystic I took powerpool always cause they we're either 2.5% or 5% more pool (which scales nicely through all levels cause it's precentage) = more regen as it's based on your power pool. Faster regen only helps when you're not in fight and when you see description they only add like max 5 points more per tick so they're useless IMO (tried regen first and respected as soon as it was possible and haven't regretted it).

Disclaimer: I'm not 50 yet and toughest mobs I've fought are the named nightblood in EL and The Magolemus in Lava which are 15-20 min fights. Much of this is from past MMOG experience. As far as I can tell, regen spec is worthless on raid mobs unless you find a way to stay out of combat (which is possible on some at least but you have to be a LONG way back). Group cures are essential and having only Nox is a decent hinderance for Inquisitors (but not necessarily game breaking). I took sta/hp increases as I figure a live healer is much more valuable to a raid than a dead one, even if my power pool is 5-10% less - which was definitely true in EQ1 raids when dealing with AEs. I also avoided triggered effects for permanent ones where I could.Dd

All you need to do, is type "/respec" in your chat window. You can only do this once however, so be certain of your choices this time <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. If you're still using the other spell you chose at lvl10, you could even consider waiting untill that one isn't useful any more, before you respec, as I didn't find the lack of a group cure to be that much of a problem at lvl15. YMMV though.
