<DIV>Anybody have any idea why a cleric class, as its major super-ultra cool level 50 spells gets...a haste? </DIV> <DIV>Wouldnt this make sense to be like, a reactive? or a constant heal? or something? I mean, we're clerics and stuff. Not coercers. and i hear it doesnt stack?</DIV> <DIV>I dont want to whine but this makes no sense =)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hmm, I guess it doesnt have to make sense.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Not being able to move is one thing... not being able to CAST while this bugger is running makes it stupid at best. The only time I've intentionally kept it running was when I was basically out of juice to heal, I tossed it up and prayed my group could cut it down before it took out the tank though!</DIV>

Its pretty useless overall. It adds 50 to the haste score though which is a serious haste. The worst thing is the 30 sec recast starts from when it drops, so you can't just turn it on and off as needed.I have to wonder if any class stun yourself spells are actually useful though.-Dan

Yeah, I just tested it with the window MainHud.Character, and that +49(FBSS only gives 15 comparatively) surprised me for an App1... going to buy an app4 and see how much it does then. Going to test with my Illusionist friend and see how they stack also.

<DIV>Don't waste the 15gp on app4, it does nothing.  </DIV>

I was pretty sure at app2 it was adding exactly +50. Did app4 still put you at +49?

<DIV>Hah, yeah... just take into account the fact that the concept of math has quickly faded away since I last stepped foot in a classroom. :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But yeah, app1-app4 had no change.  </DIV>

<DIV>Oh, I use it quite often because the melees really like that extra haste. Of course you can't do it when it is a close fight and being the only healer.</DIV> <DIV>But with less risky fights you can usually use it.  It is just a matter of observing the situation and if it's no problem to be inative for the duration of the spell, then I cast it. Usually I do first some reactive heals, debuffs and my DoTs and then I go into haste mode. After haste is over, I can refresh my DoTs and do some healing. And after that I can cast haste again.</DIV> <DIV>Btw... If some emergency heals are needed during the Zealotry spell then I quickly deactivate the haste by right-clicking on the buff icon and then I can move and cast as normal.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I still have to check the value of my haste because I have the Adept I version.</DIV>

It does like nothing.I cant see any effect,no melees can see any effect. It renders you unable to do anything and is just a good excuse to go afk really.I didnt use it for weeks and the haste must be really minor to be that unnoticable. Its just a total waste along our other 50 spell whos just as useless.

<DIV> <DIV>Well, maybe it has to do with the setup of your group?</DIV> <DIV>Is there another char in your group that has a haste buff? It might not stack and then of course it makes no sense to use yours.</DIV> <DIV>In our group setup at that time (guardian, troubadour, wizard, warlock, necro, inqui) I can ensure you that the tank and troubadour saw a significant raise how often they hit the monster. And you could also see it when you look at them swinging. But sorry, no parsing data available because I saw no parser yet that works reliable with the logs of our German EQ2 version and at the moment I am too lazy to write one on my own.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am not saying that it is really a great spell. Of course I wish we would get something better.</DIV> <DIV>But I can asy that it is not totally useless in certain situations. And you can definitely click it off to be able to cast spells again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV></DIV>

<DIV>Most the damage in my groups come from specials, so the haste is pretty minimal at best. And since its gimping me from using any spells for 45 seconds or however long it's not worth casting IMO.</DIV>
