Struck down by...

Was out swimming in the commonlands yesterday and after some time a friend needed some gils so I get up on the docks. To my left I notice some kind of knight (or possibly other person, I wasn't paying attention really) that rides towards me to enter the commonlands, just as he passes me I'm struck down to the ground. It was like the lightning hit me, and hit me hard, I thought I was dead but got up after a while, no harm done. My friend asked me what happened, and I was just as baffeled as he was.Now my question for you: What happened? I was swimming across a river. My group had just finished killing an orc. A chest had dropped. I went under like 2 inches of water. I was going to be underwater for 3 seconds.They open the chest. It was one of those chests that stun and stop everyone from moving for a minute or two.I drowned in 2 inches of water. I was cranky. But laughing.
