First of all I wanted to point out that the questions below will be assuming that there are multiple templars/inqs, as in a raid setting.I basically want to know which situations I can stack my spells in, and which situations it's a waste to cast a particular heal/debuff/buff. So I did many searches and read many posts and I've been experimenting in game quite a bit. What I gather from this is that our single target reactives will stack with our group ones, they will not stack with our group only single target reactives, nor other templar reactives (it seems they overwrite them), nor inquisitor reactives (it seems they queue with them). Is this accurate? The debuff line of spells appear to stack on enemies. I am unsure if the effects are added or if they are just queued (I assume they are queued, or else enemies would be completely crippled). Ex. multiple templars casting mark of pawns, would the benefits stack? or would they queue?Buff spell lines appear to stack up as well, however I'm sure both spells are not providing effects, I've tested this in the past, but not in some time. Can anyone confirm that multiple templar buffs are not both providing effects? Also which inq buffs do not stack with templar buffs? I'm not very familiar with the inq line of spells. Thanks!

Starting with heals.

Our normal single target reactives will not stack with another spell identical to it. IE Glorious Intercession will not stack with itself or Suffering Penance. They will in fact overwrite eachother.

I assume our 15min recast single target reactive(Radiance?) will not stack with another instance of the spell from another Templar or Inquisitor.

Our group reactives like Dire Intercession and Malevolent Diatribe will stack in serial with itself from another Templar or the other from an Inquisitor. IE they will queue 9 charges from one then fade, letting the next use its 9 charges.

I assume our 15min recast group reactive will follow the same rules as the normal group reactives.

Focused Intercession our stun reactive probably will not stack with itself if two Templars are in the group. They may overwrite eachother.

One instance of each of these will heal in parallel. IE, cast all at once and the attacked target will be healed five times, once by each of the spells.Next with debuffs.

Spurn should not stack with itself. It should stack with the Inquisitor equivalent Convict as it does different things. If two Spurns are used, the one that debuffs the most should take precedence, as does debuffs work when placed on players. At least one would assume.

Mark of the Celestial is similar; it does not stack with itself. I do not know how it stacks with Inquisitor divine debuffs; but I assume it stacks with them. The healing reactive proc effect does not stack. If two are applied to a mob, the first one applied will proc heals on melee attackers. The second buff applied will be dormant until the first is removed by fading or being rebuffed.

Involuntary Restoration's healing is the same as MoC. The second buff applied will do no healing until the first has faded. So two Templars casting this spell 100% will not help past the first. If one casts only to cover for the less than diligent other cleric, then I suppose they can cover eachother's gaps.

Next with buffs. Assume that no buff with the same name will stack effects with another of the same name.

Gallantry has a physical mitigation buff that will not stack with another priest's mitigation buff. Higher usually takes precedence(shaman buffs were once maybe now still bugged to take precedence no matter what). Gallantry's icon will stack with all other priest buffs except for itself(?) and provide the secondary effect. Inquisitors provide group STA with Pious while we provide straight health.

Symbol of Naltron will only barely stack with Fanatic's Faith. The 321hp will not stack, nor will the resists in an additive fashion. However the Templar spell has more magic/divine mitigation, and the Inquisitor spell has more mental mitigation. The higher of the mitigation in each spell will take precedence. So the maximum stacking is 321hp 1160 to all arcane mitigation. The 321hp will stack with druid/shaman versions of the spell.

Holy Redoubt's health buff will not stack with the Inquisitor Consecrated Aura's health buff. The secondary effect of each will stack if the icons are stacked.

Message Edited by EQAditu on 02-03-2007 05:15 PM
