So, i was thinking of switching from Inquisitor to Templar. Level 70.What are the pros can cons?My main concern is Mana. Do you guys run out of mana often?Has anyone done calculations to find out exactly how much u guys heal better than inquisitors? Not too happy with EOF inquisitor line, all DPS. Has EOF AA line for Templars made you better healers? If so, by how much? Thanks for any info.

Message Edited by Somatic on 01-19-2007 11:32 PM

Message Edited by Somatic on 01-19-2007 11:33 PM

Message Edited by Somatic on 01-19-2007 11:34 PM

Pros: Templars have bigger heals, higher hp buffs we also get a buff that has a chance to proc a heal when the tank is hitting the mob. In regards to pwr I guess it also depends on how much power you have and how much FT you have as well. Ive really never had a problem with running out of power. I dont know how much more templars heal then inquisitors all i know is that there is a difference in heal quanities.

EOF AA: Not all of our templar aa lines are dps but most are with the exception of the cure aa lines and the glory of battle aa in which it increases its chance to proc a heal.

All in all i enjoy being a Templar. Keep in mind when you betray all your abliites will be app1.

Templars don't have the power proc on melee hit buff so yes, we are a lot more power limited. More defensive buffs than inq, less offensive More expensive spells as more templars about A templar is normally a more powerful healer unless the inquisitor uses that power hungy "add heal to every spell" buff 2 standout EoF healing lines:

Blessings increases group proc chances - helps things like percussion of stone and glory of combat (supposed to only help items), but everything leading up to it is healing related too, so very good value

Mana Cure - a bit blah, but lead ups add a reactive to cures

Templars do have a dps EoF line too, but only crazies would take it I think (guild inquisitor agrees) templars pulled ahead as healers with EoF

I just switched from inquis to templar and i am happy with my decision. The spells are definitely more "healer" than the ones I was getting on my inquis. I just had no interest in the whole pally wannabe concept going on with the inquisitor class. I don't see the point of soloing on a healer - it isn't why I made one.

Inquis vs templar is easy.

Inquis buff dps and heal some. Templar buff HP and keep people alive.
