<DIV>I recently created a new templar and it is the first time I have ever played any type of healing toon before. I threw my first couple of AA's into Wisdom because I thought this would make my spells do more damage, but the more I read I think I may have misunderstood. What benefit do I have completing this line and why does it seem most people go down mana or agility line?</DIV>

<P>The wisdom line is all about increasing effectiveness versus undead.  If you were to choose to fight only undead, you'd want to put points into this line.  Unfortunately, it provides pretty much zero benefit against non-undead mobs so it's very situational.  I personally chose the int and stamina lines, though many will argue that the agility line is important too.  There are many ways to go but wisdom is often the last line that anyone will choose.</P> <P>By the way, wisdom increases our power pool and adds a small amount to resists.  Intelligence raises spell damage.</P>

WIS gives you more power (and less importantly at lower levels resists) - its not a bad idea to throw any unused points into it iuntil you have saved up enough to be useful.  Be aware though that respec costs rise VERY steeply - plateauing at 10plat currently.INT makes your spells hit harder (and STR your swings)<div></div>

Silly question, but what are respec costs? Are these costs associated with realigning your AA? If so, how can I do this?

<DIV>*sigh* Yes I can confirm the max on respect is 10pp.  SOME of us can't make up our minds.</DIV>

<DIV>Ah, cool.  10p isn't to terribly horrible.  I've only respec'd onc on each of my toons so I've only paid a tiny amount.</DIV>
