For my KoS tree i am going Sta and Int. Is this a good set up? working Blessings Holy smites and STA/INT ?

Any suggestions are welcome.

That sounds like you got a great plan for the play style you are looking for. The smite and strike lines make a HUGE difference in power consumption.

I honestly don't deal with the solo templar. Kendricke seems to a lot more and has some suggestions for it. Radar elaborated on those posts and a few of us refuted them with the raid assest spec's. Might look at what both sides are saying and fine your own shade of grey.

So just curious, how much different is a raiding spec? and how much harder is raid healing?

Raiding = high speed whack-a-mole with cures (tend to be quickly fatal if left), and throwing everything you can at keeping the MT alive. If you have time to get into position, turning melee on is about the extent of your dps. So it is the complete opposite of hard solimg. In terms of difficulty I'd rate them:

Soloing heroics/named

Raiding MT group templar

Solo healing challenging content

Raiding, but not in MT group

Normal soloing

Normal xp group

Raiding templars tend to concentrate obsessively about healing - heal proc items, timer reduction, power, resists - dps a distant last. So gear, Master2 choices, achievement choices tend to reflect this. While levelling groups will be scarcer, so a dps focus is't necessarily a bad thing, but save a respec or 2, for when you get to 70. The dps a templar can put out compared to a real dps class gets pretty insignificant the larger the group gets.

Message Edited by Antryg Mistrose on 01-11-2007 11:40 PM
