<DIV>so you are grouped with a second healer, fury, for example. As a templar, or any healer we are always happy to rez. as a templar i always enjoy using my full health, no revive sickness rez, followed by the other 3. now i know i cannot rez 5 total if everyone is down but usually in a group where i am the only healer, someone else usually bops in on the last person.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>but as i have been nearing level 70....i have seen comments in group chat by a fury saying, "you should have rezzed me first, i have group rezz" LOL, most seem to, as the norm, rez the templar first..so now in these higher levels where other healer(s) have a group rez whereas we do not, are we now defunct?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What should be the proper protocol now since we do not have a group rez -- say, OK, YOU ARE A FURY AND SUPERIOR, I WILL STEP ASIDE?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also dont like it when the MT goes down, and my full health, no revive sickness rez is extemely handy to bring the tank back up immediately and even save the group, only to have the other healer already racing to rez the MT with a subpar rez with maybe only 15% health and the MT gets whacked in one hit -- where the tempy rez would have saved the day.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>frustration enters at this point, and i would like opinions as to how ro deal with a pushy fury, or healer with group heal.</DIV> <P>Message Edited by WildMare on <SPAN class=date_text>12-20-2006</SPAN> <SPAN class=time_text>09:08 AM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by WildMare on <span class=date_text>12-20-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:08 AM</span>

We do have a group rez <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Basically what you should do is tell him why you should be the one rezzing the tank and not them. If they don't react, just tell the tank not to accept their rezzes or somesuch <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><p>Message Edited by SG_01 on <span class=date_text>12-20-2006</span> <span class=time_text>06:12 PM</span>

<P>yep Blazon Life - long cast time though.</P> <P>and it really bugs me when some one else rezzes just when i am about to use our full health rez /sigh.</P> <P>some people just dont let healers do their job !</P>

<DIV>My approach is this.  Depending on the group makeup and what class the other healer is, first work out who will take what role, primary heal, backup healer, who'll get the cures, who'll take the mt, and who will try to keep the rest of the group alive.  That being arranged, if there are other non-healer classes in the group who have combat rez (I think pally, dirge, necro... I might be missing one or misnaming one), they need to take the responsibility of rezin any besides the mt if the battle is thick, and make sure they know that.  That way they can take a moment out of dps'n and bring someone back up while allowing the healers to keep the mt going.  If the mt goes down, I prefer the strongest rez possible be used to bring em back up; Im not sure if a fury has a full hp single rez the same as we do (I know pallys do), but bottom line is that is the type of rez that ideally should be used.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yes, we do have a group rez, as do they, even dirges do I believe.  But a group rez comes on all counts with a low hp restore, and a long cast time.  If your group is facing a wipe, or the mt has gone down, a group rez is often not the best choice, chances are the aggro is coming your way.  If someone can stand up and keep the mobs occupied, then go for a group rez... if I see another healer going for a rez though, ill often prepare by casting my group heal or reactive so as soon as they pop up theyve got some cover.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All of this is situational of course.  </DIV>

<P>Templars get a group rez, blazon life, mid 30's correct. It's purple. If it's a full wipe, sure, why the heck not use it. Tarinax uses a breath weapon and designated rezzers are down, you better use it (assuming you're not MT cleric.) In fact, all the priests get a group rez. The MT goes down mid-battle, Revive is your fastest rez and you should call that it's being used, I recommend using a macro for battle rezzes. Post battle stuff, I usually pop a group rez on another healer. It rezzes target and 5 raid friends (random) within range.</P> <P>If it's of any consolation, apparently there are lots of clerics (and healers in general) who do not realize they have this spell. Raiding, higher-end players that wondered sometimes after using group rez, "Hmmm, I wonder what nice healer came and helped me rez the group at the exact same moment I went to rez %T."</P> <P>The way I handle the situation is just to be calm and rational about it, and explain why it is that you feel that you use one particular rez or another in what order, if you're having problems with it. If I'm in the middle of a zone with wanderers or repop, I would say something to the effect, "I am rezzing the MT first with a full health rez, that way while we recover, we have someone to intermediate hits from a wandering or repopping mob," and I usually explain myself after the fact. After this I would use a group rez coupled with group heal direct and group heal reactive (in case someone gets hit straight off.)</P> <P>/usea Revive</P> <P>/r Rezzing %T with 100% health and no revival sickness.</P> <P> </P> <P>/usea Blazon Life</P> <P>/r Incoming group rez on %T, please change rez target for faster rezzing.</P>

<DIV>Fury level 50 revive spell: <A href="http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/ability.html?eq2ability=3067" target=_blank>Primeval Awakening</A> (Scribed)<BR>Resurrects a fallen ally and shapechanges them into a treant, granting increased offensive casting techniques, intelligence, focus, and power over time replenishment. After the shapechange effect expires, the ally will get resurrection sickness. This spell can be used in combat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Right now I cant even remember if it does give full health, but i dont think it does. I do think templar's best revive is better than furies.</DIV> <P>Message Edited by Mimzel on <SPAN class=date_text>01-05-2007</SPAN><SPAN class=time_text>01:16 AM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by Mimzel on <span class=date_text>01-05-2007</span> <span class=time_text>01:16 AM</span>

<div></div>Fury's do get a no revival sickness rezz - just tell the rezzie to cancel the tree buff before it expires <span>:smileywink:</span> Templar, Defiler, Paladin are the 100% health, no sideeffect rezzers so far as I know. Paladin at least though share the very low range problem with our best rez.

<P>Yes, paladins have one as well, both require touch range.</P> <P>With the fury rez, yes if they toggle off the rez benefit, rez effects do not come. I do not believe this is intended but does work now. If it's okay, then I'm posting the info to click it off. If it isn't, then I bring it to the developer's attention here.</P>

The fury spell doesn't come with full health but when it expires gives the most power at the end of it, as such I tend to save such a rez for mages or other healers, plus its only a 4s cast time and can be cast in the heat of battle very easily. If the tank goes down though and a templar is in the group you get them to rez... give the fury a quiet /tell next time and I'm sure they'll  see the light.<div></div>
