Grand Restoration Master II

<DIV>I have no effects that lower my mana cost from my armor nor AA that specifically lowers the cost of my spells. Grand Restoration Master II costs me 308 power. A guildmate of mine, similarly AA'ed and geared has only a cost of 301. While a seven number difference, the significance stacks over say 8 casts when the ammount he saves becomes enough for a single target cure, and I definately cast this spell mutliple times. We haven't checked other spell power costs, but the only difference I can see is that he's a froglok and I'm a high elf. Is there a racial ability or something? Any thoughts on this difference between us?</DIV>

<div></div>Different amounts of ministration skill will affect your spell costs for healing spells.  Probably a small difference in your gear has a +ministration mod on it someplace.<div></div>

From my tests I would say the Frogs ministration is about 10-14 over cap. (2% spell reduction)I am still trying to figure out the ratio but good rule of thumb is: 1% = 5 Ministration.Yet at +49 Min I am only at 9% reduction so it may be a curve.<div></div>
