1. Should I even bother to "worship" a deity?

2. What are advantages?

3. I saw a place in Kelethin where I can buy an "altar" to put in my house, again, why?

4. Which God should I worship and why?

Please, anyone with info, please provide.

I would think Tunare is the logical choice but then the tier 4 ranged blessing screws it up. It doesn't really make sense at all.

I am sure that part of the blessings are geared towards traditional classes of those races who devoutly follow Tunare (Wood Elves and High Elves).

I think the range blessing was meant for paladins or rangers that choose Tunare (kind of a roleplay thing).

As a Barbarian Templar I feel totally shafted. Why would a Babr worship Tunare?

I was hoping for the return of the Tribunal...now theres a good Deity for a Barb Temp.

As they have not return the Tribunal then I was thinking of Mithanial Marr, but blessings that INCREASE hate?

Despite the problems I will go with Marr, but SOE seem to be forcing us all down the Tunare path and that , imho, is unfair.

Parah Doxic

Barbarian Templar

Radiance

Splitpaw

Personally, I went with Marr for my 70 temp.. Yes the line isn't as healer friendly as Tunare but I'm a plate healer not a tree hugger.

In addition, show me something in game that can heal for more than 75% of a targets max health.. I smell limited complete heal baby!!!!!

So far Im pretty content with the Marr line, it looks to be both a good RP choice and has some pretty interesting and fun blessings and miracles.

Your milage may vary.

Xenidux

I took Brell line-yes I know the cloak is about the @#$#$% ;in the game- but I am a dwarf and it seemed the best RP choice.

Grimmsdahl, Level 70 Templer, Nek Server

Yeah from a RP perspective Im not happy with Tunare. I would never have chosen her if I had more "Healing" options from the others but in the end I went with stats over RP and chose Tunare.

highlander13 wrote:

Personally, I went with Marr for my 70 temp.. Yes the line isn't as healer friendly as Tunare but I'm a plate healer not a tree hugger.

In addition, show me something in game that can heal for more than 75% of a targets max health.. I smell limited complete heal baby!!!!!

So far Im pretty content with the Marr line, it looks to be both a good RP choice and has some pretty interesting and fun blessings and miracles.

Your milage may vary.

Xenidux

yeah mith marr is looking good for the damage interception and the cloak is better imo (mith marr cloak is boosted by the item proc booster in the new AA's and there are ever-so-slightly-lesser versions of tunare's cloak)

tunare's healing boosts were the gut ''yes'' but my regular heals are able to cover the majority of damage with no problems so i'd prefer the 75% as well.

I am pretty uncertain what to choose, too. Tunare was my first idea because of the blessings and miracles, however I think Marr suits better for me from Templar perspective. Decisions, decisions... *sigh*

Cheers,

Ragamor

Tunare I'm a raid healer, gotta try and squeeze any bit of healing and buffing I can out of this game. :smileysurprised:

I'm the MH for a raid force also and with Marr I just don't see anything else in game, with another diety or in any other class that can heal for 7000+ in 1 cast.. My heals are more than adaquate as it is now, the expansion makes my job easier and as a templar I never run into power issues. But, if a massive spike takes down my tank I know I can have an instant 78% max health heal on em AND a 5 hit stoneskin. Yah, my job is as easy as a brigand's was pre-correction. =)

X

Tables come to mind !!!
