It has been posted that a templar <strike>can</strike> has out dpsed a Necromancer and Assassin. I'd like to put this in context so the usual idiots don't pretend this is normal.Simple question - How can any templar beat a non-afk Assassin or Conjuror in evenly remotely equivalent gear and spell class? Answer1: No problem, I did a couple of days back - the assassin had been crafting and forgot to equip weapons :smileyvery-happy: Answer2: The Summoner taking pity (or micky) on someone, renames their pets Answer3: Persuade your entire group to buff YOU, and don't heal at all - the group/raids overall dps will be well down, but yours will be stellarAnswer4: Pick a short, easy fight, don't heal and just go for it - Labs, we have the usual parsing fanatics, so on just ONE short fight I make sure healing is covered, pre-cast hammer, Yaup, HoF flaming Vial, Grandmaster Int potion, solo HO's, and go in swinging well before an assist call ........ Nope, can't get above 5th. All my attack spells are Master btw, and my gear is decent. If anyone has any other scenarios, please post 'em.

With the advent of KoS and respecing your templar to melee dps it is possible to do a surprising amount of dps.... thoguh over any length of time out dpsing a real damage dealer is no possible... although I'll have to admit templars have one of the highest autoattacks+procs out there its still just a small drop in a very large pool.
