So I realise I am newly returned, ok. Things change. i can live with that.Am I seeing a bad luck streak or do the following apply to the Glory lines?5% proc is for:Auto attack melee only.NOT for:pets, dots, poisons, spells or CA's.Is this true?<div></div>

<div></div>Its for Autoattack and Combat Arts only.It will NOT proc off a proc (double attack, group attack, poison, DoTs), and only melee not ranged or spells. Cast it on a melee toon who has the highest haste and you'll be laughing. Our raid templar often casts it on my fury... I regually spike to 100% haste and have built my toon on meleeing to fire off multiple procs, 16% chance of my own group heal proc the templar's own group heal proc in addition to my own means a lot of healing gets done without actually expending any mana <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div><p>Message Edited by boli on <span class=date_text>10-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>04:12 PM</span>

<div></div>I <i>think </i>that for dual wielding characters, it can only proc off of the main hand as well.  Lots of weird things happened to procs(mostly nerfs), and our spells were effectively reduced by it along with damage procs.  Personally I wish it went back to a non-concentration spell... its hard(for me) to justify ever buffing more than one person with it.<div></div>

Yep, they nerfed it back awhile ago to only proc off the main hand. I still like this spell and throw it on a scout. Although, it is not as great as it used to be :/<div></div>

I used this on the tank on Vilucidae, since boosting health on anyone other than the tank wasnt worth it... does anyone else use this in raids? Im going to check the parse now to see how often it went off.<div></div>

ESP if dps goes afk.Personally i have 3 of them up at once + the healing collection earring.  Makes alot of free heals go off.</div>

I have looked for it in my parses and am not impressed with it. Lately on a whole raid zone it managed to heal somebody 60 times or so for its not so great amount... this was a mere 2% of my total healing performance... and I had it on two meelee types, an assassin and a guardian offtanking. I guess I will look for other ways to spend these two slots...

I rarely use it myself, because it only accounts for 1-3% of my total healing. TBH if you have to rely on that tiny percentage between life and death, then you're already in over your head as it is. In a group setting I will put it on all of the melee classes, up to three by using Gallantry - Holy Redoubt (MT) and then 3 Glory of Battles. Mainly this lets me go into slackmode! In a raid setting I might or might not use it, and when I do it's usually only one proc maintained on someone in the group who is constantly hitting the mob or will be IN during AOE's. Normally this would be the Warrior MT or Swash / Assassin with MT hate xfer. <div></div>

<DIV>I never use it anymore, I use HR instead. It seems to me that the hp/dps bonus on a scout is preferable, or I'll put it on a mage getting hit hard by ae's.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

The tank sucked up all the damage and there was only one other melee in the group iirc. Free random heals over a buff that adds max hp and attack to a toon that wont get hit and has no problem landing melee hits. And in reply, the tank is not guarunteed anything. In fact out of all fighters in a raid the tank is least likely to be swinging due to epic proclivity to stun, mez, charm, stifle, daze the MT. The tank gets the brunt of the jack-up-your-normal-operations trouble.</div>

In a raid setting, it depends on the raid.   I use it about 50% of the time on the scout.  Other times the scout just gets a hp buff.
