does anyone know if they are going to change the rate at which one fizzles or the chance at being interrupted? i have a 70 templar and i wanted to try a beserker, i came back to the templar to raid. now, i have come to the realization just how much i hate playing the templar. after playing both i have a much better time with the beserker. i used to like the templar. but when you fizzle three times in a row on spell that i have been casting for what it seems like the being of time i should not fizzle three times in a row. needless to say this was on a raid and the MT died. then i get bumped out of the MT group because others think i suck now. this is just aggravating. its especially worse in groups because the healing is all you, versus in a raid where you have others that help out in the healing.

in groups one fizzle / interrupt can mean the end of the run in the dungeon or the win for the master chest.

my friend plays, or used to play, an iquisitor. he quit for the same reason. now he plays his assassin. so i know im not the only one that has experienced this crap.

Fizzles will be going away completely with the combat changes in the EoF release.Interrupts will still be a possibility, but some changes should reduce the rate at which they occur.Edited to include the link to the source of my info.http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=testdev&message.id=11194#M11194
Message Edited by Drats on 10-13-2006 12:27 PM

I've counted 20+ fizzles on one single 2-3hr raid. I have fizzled countless times using my manastone or shards and hearts! I've made hitting the hotkey several times second nature to my playstyle. That way you can recover quickly if you do fizzle but when you get those several in a row.... that's when people die. I will be SO glad when they take them away. Didn't they say they reduced the chance of fizzles a while back?

I'm like uhhhh....until you play a healer then shut the heck up. :p

Message Edited by Kizee on 10-13-2006 01:21 PM

I think i had maxed out my fizzling skill, one night i hit cure arcane 21 times, 20 fizzles in a row.... I didnt know that was possible =( Kind of sad when a DoT time runs out before i even begin casting.
