What are you trying to accomplish?Since this is the Templar forum, are you solo'ing? In groups, the tank in the group worries about his mitigation/agility. You worry about your power pool, heal crit, power regen, casting times. In raids, in addition to worrying about the same things as a group, you worry about AoE spell resists. In raids if you are in the main tank or off tank group you also need to focus on boosting the tanks mitigation, defense, avoidance. Master Gallantry, if your human check out the Leadership trait, check out the Agi AA line for Shield Ally (its useless in short fights or low mob dps because you can outheal, but when dealing with Taranix by having the tank avoid damage it functions as if it were a manaless no-cast-time heal and that's better than reactives and wards but there you may want to look at how you can up your avoidance through changing gear) Also check out the second AA in the Str line at level 8 it can drop a mobs skills by 6 levels.

In lower levels AGI might help. I'm not sure as I got my templar to 50 before DoF. I don't know how much is out there in lower levels, but getting +def gear is more important than increasing your agility. I have better avoidance than shamans and druids even in plate while having lower agility because I have tank oriented plate such as +def. For soloing on a templar you want mitigation/avoidance and str for melee damage aswell as int for spell damage. Though truth be told with my achievements I solo very well and my str is 300+ while my int is barely over 100. When it comes to soloing DPS is king. You want to do as much damage with the mana you have as you can in as short a time as possible. If you find yourself running out of mana, then it'll be time to put more back into wisdom/power, but until then crank that damage.

Message Edited by Quijonsith on 10-04-2006 12:20 PM

More AGI in plate is not a good thng really... especially if you have to compromise your other stats for it... if you want more avoiidance your best looking for items with give +defence and getting the best shield you can really they will benifit your avoidance far more than a few points of AGI.Remember if you want mroe avoidance you can allways wear chain/leather

IMO, no it isn't. Each point of AGI is worth like .1% avoidance. If it were me, I'd got for more STR or INT to do more damage and end the fight faster then take less hits.
